Sr Infrastructure Engineer, Enterprise Storage and Backup

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Enterprise Storage and Backup supports QVC, and helps maintain and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of core technology infrastructure in large enterprise environments.
You'll work across mission-critical systems that support the business every day. You'll solve complex infrastructure issues, improve system performance, contribute to environment design, and help automate provisioning and operational work.
Where You'll Work
This role is remote; job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ, or DE. This role may require you to be on site at our West Chester, PA location as needed.
What You'll Do

Support and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, including escalations related to mission-critical systems

Design and implement infrastructure solutions for environments of increasing complexity and scale

Improve system performance, reliability, and capacity through tuning, analysis, and recommendations

Automate infrastructure provisioning and repeatable operational tasks to improve speed, consistency, and accuracy

Evaluate technologies within your domain and contribute practical recommendations that improve operations and long-term supportability
What You'll Bring

5+ years of infrastructure engineering or related experience, including enhancing infrastructure in large or enterprise environments

Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and driving resolution with strong ownership, along with infrastructure design, provisioning, performance tuning, capacity planning, and automation of operational or provisioning tasks through scripting and other methods

Expertise in enterprise storage architecture and deployment across block, file, and object storage, including Pure, NetApp, and Dell/EMC, and storage area networks using Brocade and Cisco MDS

Expertise in enterprise data protection with Commvault, operating systems including RHEL, Windows, ESX, and Xen, and cloud infrastructure, especially Azure

Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Python and Ansible

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
