Senior Media Buyer

Job Title: MVA Lead Generation Senior Media Buyer

I want to hire you… and pay you a lot of money.

But this role isn't for most media buyers.

If you’re a senior media buyer based in the U.S. who is already actively managing accounts spending 7 figures per month on Meta and/or Google, keep reading.

Because if you're genuinely elite at media buying, obsessed with performance, and want to operate at a scale where small improvements can have massive impact, this could be the opportunity you're looking for.

We operate at serious scale.

You'll be working across 7-figure monthly advertising budgets, multiple platforms, multiple states and markets, and a creative operation capable of producing and testing a massive volume of new ads.

We don't need someone to simply maintain what we've built.

We want someone who can help us make it significantly better.

The Role

This is not a traditional media buyer role.

We don't need someone who waits for instructions, adjusts budgets, turns off bad ads, and calls it media buying.

And we definitely don't need someone who requires leadership to constantly tell them where the next opportunity is.

We're looking for someone who can take real ownership over performance.

Someone who can look across Meta, Google, states, campaigns, and hundreds of creatives and quickly determine:

• Where should we spend more?
• Where should we spend less?
• What's starting to work that we haven't fully capitalized on yet?
• Why is this state underperforming?
• What winning ads haven't we expanded yet?
• What creative are we missing?
• What should we test next?

Then actually execute.

You won't just optimize campaigns.

You'll help determine where the next level of growth comes from.

What You’ll Actually Own

1. Performance & Scaling

• You’ll help manage and optimize high-spend campaigns across Meta and Google, including YouTube, Search, and Performance Max.
• You'll continuously look across platforms and states to identify:

• Scaling opportunities
• Budget reallocation opportunities
• Performance inefficiencies
• Underperforming markets
• Testing gaps
• New strategies worth implementing

We expect you to understand where our money is going, what it's producing, and where the next dollar should be spent.

You'll work with other media buyers and leadership on cross-platform and state-level budget strategy to hit our volume and profitability goals.

2. Creative Expansion

At our scale, media buying and creative strategy cannot operate separately.

You'll know our best-performing ads.

You'll know our best-performing angles.

You'll know which concepts are starting to gain traction.

And you'll make sure we capitalize on them.

That means constantly thinking:

“This is working here → why aren't we running it here, here, and here?”

“This angle is crushing on Meta → let's test it on YouTube.”

“This state-specific concept is working → let's build it for every relevant market.”

“We're relying too heavily on UGC here → let's expand our creative diversity.”

“This angle is starting to work → creative team needs to build 10 more variations before everyone else catches it.”

You’ll bridge the gap between performance data and the creative team.

The creative team should always know what’s working, what’s starting to work, what’s getting fatigued, and what we need more of.

3. Underperforming Markets

When a state isn't producing enough volume, your job isn't simply to say:

"Performance is bad."

Your job is to figure out why.

Is it creative?

Campaign structure?

Budget allocation?

Lack of creative diversity?

A winning angle we haven't brought over from another market?

Platform mix?

Audience?

Offer?

Landing page?

Then build and execute a plan to improve it.

We want problem solvers, not reporters.

4. Media Buying Operations

You'll help own the operational side of running advertising at scale.

That includes:

• Weekly and monthly spend planning and pacing
• Cross-platform and state-level budget allocation
• Campaign launches
• Creative launches across Meta and Google
• Key media buying Google Sheets and reporting
• Performance tracking
• Testing frameworks
• Campaign structure
• Account organization
• Making sure nothing falls through the cracks

You'll know how our campaigns are structured and understand what is happening across the accounts without needing someone else to explain it to you.

5. Account Monitoring

When you're responsible for significant advertising spend, performance doesn't stop because it's Saturday.

You'll be expected to check campaigns over weekends when necessary to ensure:

• Nothing is broken
• Spend is behaving correctly
• Volume remains healthy
• Major performance issues are caught quickly
• High-spending problem campaigns or ads aren't running unchecked

You'll also occasionally need to turn campaigns on/off or make critical changes outside normal business hours when directed by Quintessa leadership.

This isn't about unnecessarily working 24/7.

It's about understanding the responsibility that comes with operating large advertising budgets.

6. Innovation

We don't want someone who only knows how to execute our existing playbook.

We want you improving it.

You should constantly be paying attention to:

• What other elite advertisers are doing
• New Meta strategies
• New Google strategies
• Creative trends
• New campaign structures
• New platforms
• New tools
• New testing methodologies
• Opportunities we're currently missing

Then ask:

“How can we use this?”

Bring ideas.

Challenge existing assumptions.

Run tests.

Learn from them.

Then iterate.

The Standard

This is not a “set it and forget it” media buying role.

We move fast.

We spend aggressively when something works.

We cut things when they don't.

We test constantly.

We expect people to communicate quickly and make decisions.

And we're obsessed with finding incremental improvements because at our scale, small improvements compound into massive results.

You should naturally find yourself checking performance because you're curious about what happened.

You should get excited when you find an ad that's starting to take off.

You should be annoyed when you see an obvious scaling opportunity sitting untouched.

You should constantly be asking:

“What can we do today to drive more volume at a lower cost?”

Who This Is NOT For

This role is NOT for you if:

• You're not based in the United States
• You've never actively managed 7-figure monthly ad spend
• You don't genuinely love media buying
• You're primarily looking for a comfortable 9-to-5
• You need someone else to identify every opportunity for you
• You spend more time reporting problems than solving them
• You default to “let's wait for more data” every time a decision needs to be made
• You just want to optimize campaigns and push buttons
• You don't understand creative diversity
• You don't understand how creative impacts media buying performance
• You rarely bring new ideas to the table
• You're afraid to make decisions
• You lack urgency
• You aren't constantly trying to improve your craft
• You want responsibility without accountability

Who This IS For

This role IS for you if:

• You've actively managed $1M+ per month in ad spend
• You're highly experienced with Meta and/or Google
• You live and breathe media buying aka you LOVE THE GAME
• You can look at large amounts of performance data and quickly identify what matters
• You can spot potential winning ads early and know how to expand them
• You understand budget allocation at scale
• You think beyond individual campaigns and understand performance across platforms, markets, and creatives
• You understand creative diversity and how it impacts performance
• You naturally think in angles, patterns, distribution, and opportunities
• You're comfortable making decisions with imperfect information
• You're extremely analytical without becoming slow
• You're proactive rather than reactive
• You bring solutions, not just problems
• You're constantly bringing new ideas and tests to the table
• You're competitive with yourself and want to get better every week
• You want your decisions to actually matter
• You want exposure to massive budgets, an elite creative operation, and real decision-making authority
• You want your income and responsibility to scale with your impact

If you “love the game,” which we call ads, you'll feel at home here.

What You Get

This is the part that should excite the right person.

You'll get:

• Massive budgets to work with
• A creative team capable of producing and iterating on ideas quickly
• Enough data to make meaningful decisions fast
• The ability to test ideas without fighting for tiny budgets
• Direct access to leadership
• Real influence over media buying strategy
• The ability to see your decisions translate into millions of dollars of spend
• An environment that rewards performance and initiative
• The opportunity to build systems and strategies that operate at serious scale

A lot of media buyers eventually hit a ceiling because their company can't give them more budget, more creative, or more room to operate.

We can.

Compensation & Growth

We want exceptional people, and we're willing to pay for them.

$8,000-$14,000/month ($96,000-$168,000/year) depending on experience and skill level.

Plus:

• Monthly performance-based bonuses
• Clear opportunities for increased compensation
• Increased ownership as you prove yourself
• Opportunity to take on greater leadership within the media buying department

Your upside should increase as your impact increases.

We treat growth like a game.

And we reward people who win.

Final Note

We're building something serious here.

If your goal is to find the easiest media buying job possible, this isn't it.

But if you're obsessed with advertising and want to operate at a level where you're working with massive budgets, huge amounts of data, an elite creative team, and real responsibility, pay attention.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just want to manage campaigns.

We're looking for someone who wants to become one of the best media buyers in the game.
