Junior Media Buyer

I want to hire you… and give you the opportunity to become an elite media buyer.

If you’re a media buyer based in the U.S. who’s already working inside 6-figure monthly ad accounts on Meta and/or Google and you’re obsessed with getting better at the game, keep reading.

This role is designed for someone who already has real media buying experience but wants to take the next step.

You’ll get the opportunity to work inside massive ad accounts, alongside experienced media buyers and a high-output creative team, while learning how we scale campaigns across multiple platforms, states, and creative strategies.

If you love ads, love looking at data, and want to become an elite media buyer, this could be the perfect role for you.

The Role

This is a Junior Media Buyer role, but we aren't looking for someone who just wants to click buttons all day.

You won’t be expected to walk in and own our entire media buying strategy.

Instead, you’ll work closely with our senior media buyers and leadership team to help manage, optimize, launch, analyze, and scale campaigns across Meta and Google.

You’ll be assisting with accounts spending significantly more than what you've likely managed before while learning the systems and strategies we use to operate at scale.

We want someone who can look at performance data, start recognizing patterns, execute quickly, and gradually take on more responsibility as they prove themselves.

The goal is simple:

Come in as a strong junior media buyer and develop into someone capable of managing massive ad spend.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Assist with managing and optimizing high-spend campaigns across Meta and Google, including YouTube, Search, and Performance Max
• Work inside ad accounts spending 7 figures per month, while learning how campaigns at this scale are managed
• Work directly with senior media buyers on campaign strategy, optimization, scaling, and budget allocation
• Monitor campaign performance and flag potential problems, opportunities, or unusual changes
• Help identify campaigns, ads, states, and markets where we should scale, cut, or reallocate spend
• Launch new campaigns, ad sets, ads, and creative tests across Meta and Google
• Assist with weekly and monthly spend pacing across platforms and states
• Help maintain our key media buying Google Sheets and reporting so performance data, spend tracking, and pacing remain accurate
• Learn all of our top-performing ads, angles, campaign structures, and account setups
• Monitor campaigns over weekends when needed to make sure nothing is broken and performance remains on track
• Turn campaigns on/off when directed by senior media buyers or Quintessa leadership, including occasionally outside normal business hours
• Analyze ads and angles that are beginning to work and help expand them into additional states, markets, and platforms
• Look for opportunities like:
  • “This ad is working in Texas. Should we test it in these other states?”
  • “This angle is working on Meta. Could we test it on YouTube?”
  • “This state needs more creative diversity.”
  • “We don't have enough UGC/image ads running here.”
  • “This winning concept hasn't been tested in these markets yet.”
• Help analyze underperforming states and identify potential reasons performance is struggling
• Analyze winning ads from other states and platforms to find opportunities we haven't tested yet
• Review creative diversity across campaigns and identify missing formats, styles, angles, or concepts
• Research competitors and bring interesting ads, strategies, and ideas to the team
• Communicate performance insights to our creative team so they understand what’s working and what we should create more of
• Bring new ideas and observations to senior media buyers instead of waiting to be told everything to look for
• Continuously improve your understanding of scaling, creative strategy, campaign structure, budget allocation, and performance analysis

You won't be expected to know everything on Day 1.

But you will be expected to learn fast, execute fast, ask good questions, and continuously become a better media buyer.

This is not a “set it and forget it” role.

We move fast, test constantly, and care deeply about performance.

What Makes This Role Different

A lot of junior media buying roles mean spending your entire day launching ads and following instructions.

That's not what we're looking for.

Yes, you'll execute.

Yes, you'll assist our senior media buyers.

But we also want you to think.

We want you to start developing the ability to:

• Spot trends in performance
• Recognize winning ads earlier
• Understand why certain creatives are working
• Identify scaling opportunities
• Identify inefficient spend
• Understand creative diversity
• Think across states, platforms, and campaigns
• Bring ideas to the team
• Turn performance data into actionable insights

You'll have experienced people around you to learn from, but the expectation is that over time you'll need less direction and take on more ownership.

Who This Is NOT For

• You’re not based in the United States
• You have little to no hands-on media buying experience
• You’ve never worked inside 6-figure monthly spend ad accounts
• You don't genuinely enjoy media buying
• You're looking for a job where you can simply complete a checklist and clock out
• You want to push buttons without understanding why you're doing something
• You don't like looking at performance data
• You lack urgency or attention to detail
• You need constant hand-holding
• You're afraid to ask questions when you don't understand something
• You aren't interested in creative strategy
• You don't keep up with what's happening across Meta, Google, advertising, and creative
• You're comfortable doing the same thing for years without improving

Who This IS For

This role is for you if:

• You have experience working inside 6-figure monthly ad spend accounts
• You have hands-on experience with Meta and/or Google Ads
• You love media buying and want to master it
• You're hungry to eventually manage significantly larger budgets
• You enjoy looking at data and figuring out why performance is moving
• You understand that creative is one of the biggest drivers of paid advertising performance
• You're interested in learning how winning ads and angles are scaled across markets
• You're extremely detail-oriented
• You're fast and reliable when something needs to get done
• You ask good questions and learn quickly
• You take feedback well and implement it
• You bring ideas and observations to the team instead of staying silent
• You want to work around people who are extremely serious about advertising
• You want exposure to massive budgets, high-performing creatives, and sophisticated media buying strategies
• You want your responsibility and compensation to increase as your skills improve

If you “love the game,” which we call ads, you'll feel at home here.

Compensation & Growth

Compensation is based on experience and skill level.

$70,000 - $100,000 per year

Monthly bonuses based on performance goals.

More importantly, there is a clear path to increased ownership, responsibility, and compensation.

The goal isn't for you to stay a Junior Media Buyer forever.

As you prove that you can make smart decisions, identify opportunities, and consistently improve performance, you'll be trusted with larger budgets and more responsibility.

We want people who want to become exceptional at what they do, and we reward people as their impact grows.

Final Note

We’re building something serious here.

You’ll be working inside accounts spending amounts that most media buyers never get the opportunity to touch.

You’ll work alongside experienced media buyers and a creative team producing and testing a massive volume of ads.

And you'll have the opportunity to learn how advertising works when you're operating at serious scale.

We're not expecting you to walk in knowing everything.

We are expecting you to be hungry enough to learn it.

If you love ads, want to become an elite media buyer, and want an environment where you can dramatically accelerate your growth, this might be the role for you.
