Short Summary:
As the Information Security Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team of security engineers, manage security operations, and ensure the security of Qualia's products and services. This role combines leadership with hands-on technical work, focusing on automation and AI to enhance security processes.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Information Security team—coaching security engineers, setting goals and priorities, and owning delivery against the security roadmap
- Own detection and response end-to-end: define what "normal" looks like across our products, customers, employees, and assets; build and tune detection logic
- Serve as incident commander for security incidents—coordinating investigation and containment across teams
- Own the escalation path for customer-reported security concerns—triaging issues and driving them to resolution
- Scale the team through automation and AI: build AI-assisted workflows for triage, investigation, and response
- Strengthen Qualia's cloud and corporate security posture—reviewing configurations and monitoring for drift
- Partner across teams to embed security into product development and technology adoption
- Support compliance programs as a pragmatic control owner
- Hire and mentor security engineers, fostering a supportive team culture

Requirement:
- 5+ years of professional information security experience, with 2+ years managing a security engineering or operations team
- Hands-on experience in security operations, detection engineering, and incident response
- Ability to write code and experience in automation, ideally with LLMs or agents in security workflows
- Strong written communication skills for various audiences
- Familiarity with identity and access management concepts and core IT domains
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
