Short Summary:
Provectus is a consulting and professional services firm focused on AI/ML solutions, seeking a Senior Software Engineer or Solutions Architect with deep Python and Generative AI experience. The role emphasizes direct client communication and embedding within client teams to ensure effective system design and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Embed with the client team for the length of the engagement.
- Spend time with the people who do the job before designing the system.
- Write clean, production-grade Python across AI integrations, backend services, and RESTful APIs.
- Design, build, and optimize RAG systems and agentic AI solutions.
- Own system design and architectural decisions across the engagement.
- Act as the client's direct technical point of contact.
- Support presales activities, including discovery calls and technical proposals.
- Lead architecture reviews and produce technical design documents.
- Mentor engineers and share knowledge across the team.
Requirement:
- 7+ years building and running production systems.
- Production experience with RAG systems and LLM-based workflows.
- Backend development experience with Flask, Django REST, or FastAPI.
- Recent hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.
- Strong Python proficiency and experience making architectural trade-off decisions.
- Comfortable with direct communication with client stakeholders.
- Strong testing practices and experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- B2+ English proficiency.
