Short Summary:
Proofpoint is seeking an experienced Principal Cyber Risk & Strategy Advisor to act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, bridging technical controls and corporate risk management. This role involves leading executive discovery sessions and defining strategic cyber roadmaps to enhance client security outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with enterprise clients and teams to lead strategic discovery sessions and structure tailored solution roadmaps.
- Build rapport with CISOs, CIOs, and Board members, advising on data protection and incident response programs.
- Represent Proofpoint at executive roundtables and industry seminars.
- Collaborate with Services Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering teams based on client insights and market trends.
- Maintain expertise in SaaS protection and evolving regulatory landscapes to advise clients on defensive strategies.
Requirement:
- 6+ years of experience in management consulting or enterprise leadership in Data Security programs.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a track record of influencing C-suite decision-makers.
- Deep knowledge across Security & Risk domains, particularly in Data Security Posture Management, Enterprise DLP, and Incident Response.
- Strong understanding of global risk and policy frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience; elite industry certifications preferred.
