Embedded Software Engineer - Intern

We are looking for an intern to join our engineering team and gain hands-on experience in embedded software development. You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop, test, and debug software for embedded devices.
This is what you will do:

• Assist in developing and maintaining embedded software.
• Test and debug software on target hardware.
• Collaborate with the team on troubleshooting and documenting solutions.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of C/C++ and embedded systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, Git, or communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I²C is a plus.

In this role, you’ll be an important member of our engineering team, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in embedded software development and contribute to products used by frontline workers every day. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to develop, test, and debug software on our embedded devices, giving you real insight into how embedded products are built from code to hardware. You’ll share your findings and collaborate with engineers and other relevant stakeholders as part of your day-to-day work, with plenty of room to ask questions, learn, and grow.

• Contribute regularly to day-to-day sprint work
• Debug and test software on real hardware, and get comfortable with embedded tools
• Show curiosity and willingness to learn embedded technologies and best practices
• Share findings and solutions openly and become an active member of the engineering team

You’ll join a team of Android Engineers, Tech Leads, Embedded Software Engineers, and System & Embedded Software Engineers who work together on our products. They’ll be there to mentor you, share their knowledge, and support you every step of the way. From onboarding to your first contributions, you’ll have experienced people around you to answer questions and help you grow
