The Senior Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and governing enterprise technology solutions that support business objectives. This role serves as a strategic technical leader, partnering with business stakeholders, project teams, and IT leadership to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and design of enterprise applications, integrations, infrastructure, cloud, and data solutions.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into technical roadmaps.
Develop solution architectures, technical standards, and design documentation.
Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools that support business growth and operational efficiency.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, cybersecurity requirements, and compliance obligations.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers, engineers, analysts, and project teams.
Review system designs, code, integrations, and infrastructure implementations for architectural compliance.
Support digital transformation initiatives, cloud adoption, modernization efforts, and emerging technologies.
Identify risks, dependencies, and technical debt while developing mitigation strategies.
Participate in vendor evaluations, product selections, and contract reviews.
Mentor technical staff and contribute to architecture governance processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of progressive IT experience, including solution design and architecture responsibilities.
3+ years in a senior architecture, lead engineering, or similar technical leadership role.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture, systems integration, APIs, databases, and security principles.
Experience leading complex, cross-functional technology projects.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in a related field.
Architecture certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- TOGAF Certification
Experience with ERP systems, manufacturing systems, supply chain technologies, or enterprise platforms.
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and microservices architectures.
