Location: Remote within Central Region (Preference for Minneapolis, Chicago, Dallas, or Houston)
Travel: Approximately 50%+

Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth throughout Post's Central Region by executing strategic sales initiatives across Foodservice distribution, non-commercial operators, regional chain accounts, and broker partners.
Success in this role requires a strong balance of business development, relationship management, account planning, and sales execution. The ideal candidate will bring an established network within the Foodservice industry, a proven ability to influence distributors and operators, and experience leading broker organizations to achieve ambitious sales objectives.

What You'll Do
Drive Sales Growth
- Deliver annual sales objectives for volume, net sales, and operating profit across assigned accounts and territories.
- Create, manage, and execute a robust sales pipeline aligned to business growth goals.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities throughout the region.
Develop Strategic Customer Relationships
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across non-commercial Foodservice segments.
- Establish top-to-top relationships with regional operators, local national accounts, distributors, and key influencers.
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans for assigned customers and distributors.
Lead Broker Network Performance
- Manage and develop broker partners throughout the region.
- Execute annual and quarterly sales priorities through broker teams.
- Provide coaching, accountability, and market direction to maximize results.
Expand Market Presence
- Lead targeted sales campaigns supporting key business initiatives.
- Drive distribution gains and customer adoption of new products and innovations.
- Accelerate speed-to-market execution for new product launches.
Analyze and Execute
- Utilize business analytics and market insights to identify opportunities and solve challenges.
- Develop strategic business plans that support sustainable growth.
- Collaborate with demand planning teams on volume forecasts tied to new and lost business.
Collaborate Across the Organization
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Finance, Supply Chain, Category Management, and Sales leadership.
- Share best practices and success stories across regional and national teams.
- Represent Post at industry events, distributor meetings, and national conferences.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Foodservice sales and business management experience.
- Experience managing Foodservice broker organizations.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Established Foodservice relationships within the Central Region.
- Experience developing and executing strategic territory and account plans.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the region.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with major Foodservice distributors such as Sysco, US Foods, Gordon Food Service, Performance Food Group, and key regional distributors.
- Strong relationships within non-commercial segments such as:
- Healthcare
- Education
- Business & Industry
- Senior Living
- Hospitality
- Experience managing regional chain accounts and local national accounts.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and other business management tools.
