Job Summary
The Director of Global Sales Operations is responsible for driving operational excellence across the global sales organization. This role leads the Sales Operations team and owns the processes, systems, data, and analytics that enable Sales to perform effectively.
A key focus will be ensuring Salesforce is optimized and trusted as the source of truth, while providing Sales leadership with the reporting, analysis, and insights needed to make informed decisions and drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the Sales Operations team, setting clear priorities and ensuring strong execution and partnership with Sales.
- Salesforce: Own the effectiveness of Salesforce for Sales, driving data quality, adoption, reporting, process improvement, and system optimization.
- Analytics & Reporting: Deliver actionable analysis and reporting on pipeline, bookings, conversion, productivity, attainment, and overall sales performance.
- Sales Planning: Lead territory and quota planning, capacity analysis, compensation modeling, budgeting, and annual sales planning.
- Forecasting: Own the sales forecasting process, improving forecast accuracy, pipeline visibility, and accountability.
- Excel & Data Analysis: Use advanced Excel and data analysis to identify trends, model scenarios, investigate performance, and support business decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify and eliminate inefficiencies across the sales process, using automation and AI where appropriate.
- Sales Technology: Optimize the broader sales technology stack, including Salesforce, Gong, and related tools.
- Business Partnership: Partner with Sales leadership, Marketing, Finance, Business Systems, Legal, and Pricing to improve execution and support growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Analytics, or a related role.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Deep Salesforce expertise, including reporting, dashboards, data quality, process design, and optimization.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong experience analyzing complex sales and business data.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, quota setting, and sales performance reporting.
- Experience with tools such as Gong, Salesloft, and other sales technologies.
- SaaS experience preferred.
- Experienced with communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior Sales leaders.
Compensation
Annual base salary gross:
- US: 160,000-180,000 Plus Variable USD
- Ireland: 125,000-150,000 Plus Variable EURO
- UK : 110,000-125,000 plus variable GBP
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Company's contemplated salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and geographic location. The salary is one component of Company's total compensation package for employees.
