Team, about the role

We are launching a Game Design / Product Management internship program in gamedev! This is a great opportunity to start your career in the games industry, gain hands-on experience working on real tasks, and see firsthand how one of the world’s leading game companies works.

We are looking for talented people at the start of their careers who are eager to immerse themselves in their chosen field, develop their skills, and grow with the company. The internship is paid, and top performers will have the opportunity to continue their careers at Playrix.

Who is the internship for?

The program offers an opportunity to start or continue a career in Game Design for casual F2P games. We welcome:

• Candidates without commercial experience who have a strong foundation and show initiative, including final-year students and recent graduates in technical fields, hackathon and game jam participants, and creators of pet projects or mods;
• Professionals with 1–3 years of experience in Game Design, Product/Project Management, QA, or related fields who want to grow their careers in product-focused game development.

Tasks

The program consists of three stages:

1. Internship

   You’ll get familiar with the key processes behind developing game features and complete a series of practical assignments. At this stage, you’ll learn how to analyze game mechanics, develop product solutions, prepare documentation, work with builds, and receive feedback on your work.

2. Trial Period

   If you successfully complete the internship, you’ll move on to the trial period and start working on real tasks under the guidance of a mentor. You’ll gradually get involved in developing and supporting game features, collaborate with developers and game designers, and take on increasing responsibility.

3. Working with a Product Team

   At the final stage, you’ll join one of our product teams and take ownership of your own area of responsibility. You’ll independently manage several tasks, work closely with a producer and the development team, and be responsible for the quality and timely delivery of your work.

Requirements

• Interest in game design and the gaming industry;

• A proactive mindset, strong motivation to grow quickly, and a commitment to continuous learning;

• Participation in game jams, hackathons, personal projects, or event organization is a plus, especially if you don’t have commercial experience yet;

• 1–3 years of experience in Game Design, Product/Project Management, QA, or related fields is an advantage.

Work Format
