We are looking for a talented Game Designer to join the team developing Mech Arena, our mobile third-person MMO shooter.

Mech Arena is focused on team interaction, competitive spirit, character, and weapon development. Players gather a team of 5 Mechs with unique abilities and weapons and use their combat tactics to win tournaments and climb leaderboards. The game is available on iOS, Android and PC / Mac.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating game rules for characters and weapons, designs, game modes, and inventing mechanics for metagame and player progression. Our game designers also interact with the monetization, development, testing, and UX teams.

Responsibilities

• Generating ideas for new features and mechanics based on player behavior data and feedback, tune their balance, guide them through to release, and refine them using post-launch data

• Formulating hypotheses regarding their expected impact on KPIs and coordinate their validation in collaboration with other project teams

• Developing concepts and balance settings for new mechs and weapons, ensuring that the content functions as intended after release

• Creating game design documentation

• Enhancing the player experience through content and features

What we expect

• At least 2 years of work experience as a Game Designer

• Experience working with game KPIs

• Experience defining requirements for new functionality in the form of game design documentation

• Experience balancing games using Google Sheets

• Proficiency in Ukrainian

• English language skills at the intermediate level or higher

Desired

• Experience using AI tools in professional work: prototyping, data analysis, and documentation writing

• Experience working in the Action and MMO shooter genres
