Cellular Therapy Account Director (CTAD), Southwest (So.CA, AZ, NM)
Your mission
Pierre Fabre is a large private French multinational pharmaceutical organization that is building a new US division with a focus on rare diseases and oncology products. We are looking for creative, highly motivated individuals to help to drive the successful launch of tabelecleucel (Tab-cel), as part of the initial Cellular Therapy Director (CTAD) team, you will be focused on delivering results with innovative solutions for complex patients suffering from a devastating rare disease, Epstein-Barr Virus Positive Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disease (EBV+ PTLD). Patients with a history of bone marrow or solid organ transplant can suffer from this rare, often deadly lymphoma. In the preapproval phase, the CTAD will be responsible for leading disease awareness efforts, developing relationships with both the clinical and non-clinical experts to understand unmet need and patient journey, as well as leading the onboarding process for launching an allogeneic cell therapy. Post-approval, the CTADs will be responsible for appropriately driving demand and working cross functionally to support utilization and treatment experience of Tab-cel within institutions in their assigned territory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Operate in compliance with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Pierre Fabre activities

Effectively navigate complex account environments by identifying and understanding the needs and challenges of diverse stakeholders and proactively collaborating with other internal functions: medical, value and access, and cell therapy operations to provide targeted support.

Integrate customer insights and analytical data to design and execute strategic account plans. Develop a deep understanding of customer dynamics and market trends to identify opportunities, uncover barriers to treatment, and drive actionable insights.

Equip treatment center staff with process training that will eliminate barriers to use and optimize operational workflows so that appropriate patients have access to products.
Pre-approval: Disease state education, Site of Care onboarding, Market mapping and research

Identify and engage with medical experts in the fields of Cell Therapy, bone marrow transplant (BMT), lymphoma, and solid organ transplantation (SOT) who manage Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disease (PTLD) to understand proliferation of disease and referral patterns

Understand process at cell therapy and transplant centers and engage on process mapping and potential onboarding requirements for allogeneic cell therapies

Educate physicians on severity of disease, unmet medical need, and current standard of care and patient journey

Create and maintain detailed site account plans

Work closely, coordinating with other PFP functions to ensure an efficient, professional customer experience that support expedited access to Tab-celEbvallo for appropriate patients

Institutional mapping which includes understanding of operational process, patient flow within institutions, and patient referral networks

Successfully execute territory business plans which include account specific KPIs and tactics

Partner with external stakeholders at sites; service line directors, administrators, coordinators, and pharmacy committees, transplant administrators, and medical societies and map relevant processes

Collaborate with marketing in the development of US promotional materials to prepare for launch

Facilitating cross-functional relationships and ownership of relationship with key commercial stakeholders within target institutions

Provide support at professional meetings, including staffing exhibits, reporting on scientific sessions and facilitating meetings with medical experts

Account leadership: drive collaboration and communication with internal field-facing cross functional teams, market access, medical affairs, and cell therapy technical operations team

Operate in compliance with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Pierre Fabre activities and adhere to all US State and Federal Regulations
Post Approval: (Includes all Pre-Approval Activities

Competitively promote Tab-celEbvallo through a deep knowledge of the EBV + PTLD landscape, product knowledge and best-in-class clinical expertise.

Share relevant account and HCP insights with cross-functional partners, highlighting business trends, competitive shifts, and changes in the therapeutic landscape. Support stakeholders to ensure both their and the patient experience is positive and seamless.

Drive appropriate utilization of Pierre Fabre products through exchange on product attributes and providing a seamless customer experience

Educate on efficacy and safety of Tab-cel for adoption in appropriate patients

Create a sense of urgency to treat patients with Tab-cel by utilizing approved promotional materials

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree
-
At least 10 years of experience within the biopharma industry

Deep expertise in of the following areas is required: cell or gene therapy service lines
-
Demonstrated experience in participating in a collaborative and complex matrix environment

Ability to understand and covey complex treatment modalities and demonstrated high scientific aptitude

Sales experience in ultra rare disease, ideally CGT
-
Ability to appropriately access and handle business information in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and / or Pierre Fabre policies

A passion for making a difference in the lives of patients
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
-
Launch experience in a high acuity therapeutic area such as ultra rare disease
-
Existing relationships in cell therapy, bone marrow transplantation, solid organ transplantation service lines
-
Experience managing large geographies
-
Experience in rare oncology and/ or transplant setting

Demonstrated record of successful account management in large academic institution
LOCATION: US, Remote with regular daily and overnight travel expected within given business territory up to 70%
Compensation and Benefits:
Anticipated Salary Range: $170,000 - $250,000
This range represents the base annual full-time salary for all positions within the applicable job grade. The actual salary offer will depend on a range of factors including experience, education, location, and other relevant qualifications. This position is also eligible for a Pierre Fabre bonus, commission, or incentive program in addition to the base pay.
