About the opportunity:
We are partnering with a highly successful commercial business who are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to take ownership of their small P&C function and help the organisation to continue to create an environment to support ongoing growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll partner closely with the leadership team, coach managers, embed best-practice frameworks, and uplift capability across the business.
About the role:
You will provide strategic and operational P&C support across the organisation, with a strong focus on building consistency and scalable people practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with senior leaders on all people-related strategy and decision-making
- Coaching managers and team leaders through performance management, employee relations and disciplinary processes
- Reviewing and improving recruitment, onboarding, induction and training practices
- Reviewing policies and procedures to ensure they are current, always fit-for-purpose, and legally compliant
- Supporting payroll oversight and ensuring appropriate cover/continuity
- Driving values, culture and engagement through clear communication and practical initiatives
- Supporting health & safety administration and documentation to help maintain compliant practices
About you:
To be successful, you’ll be a confident, approachable P&C professional who can work at both strategic and practical levels. You will build trust quickly, bringing structure, and always focus on improving how things are done.
