## Solution Architect Cisco SDA Migration & Transformation (Network & Security) **Contract On-Site Brisbane, QLD** ## About the Role A leading Australian technology services organisation is seeking an experienced **Solution Architect** to support the delivery of large-scale **Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA)** transformation initiatives. This role will focus on designing and overseeing the migration of complex enterprise network environments to modern software-defined architectures. Working closely with customers, delivery teams, and technical stakeholders, you will provide architectural leadership across network, security, and connectivity programs. ## Position Overview Based on-site in **Brisbane, QLD**, this contract opportunity will see you leading the architecture, planning, and execution of Cisco SDA migration projects within enterprise environments. You will be responsible for developing migration strategies, defining future-state architectures, identifying technical risks, and ensuring successful implementation outcomes across network and security domains. ## Key Responsibilities - Develop scalable and secure Cisco SDA architectures across enterprise LAN, WLAN, and segmentation environments. - Review existing network infrastructure and create transformation roadmaps and migration plans. - Produce architectural artefacts including HLDs, LLDs, technical diagrams, and implementation documentation. - Lead workshops with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define outcomes. - Translate business requirements into practical and supportable technology solutions. - Provide technical leadership throughout project delivery, including build, testing, deployment, and transition phases. - Identify project risks, dependencies, and operational impacts, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies. - Work collaboratively with internal teams, customers, and technology vendors. - Ensure solutions align with security, performance, operational, and scalability requirements. ## Skills & Experience - Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect delivering enterprise network and security solutions. - Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco SDA, Cisco DNA Center (DNAC), Cisco ISE, and related Cisco technologies. - Proven track record delivering network migration, transformation, or modernisation initiatives. - Strong consulting capability with experience facilitating workshops and engaging senior stakeholders. - Knowledge of network automation, APIs, orchestration, and integration methodologies. - Experience aligning technical solutions with operational processes and business objectives. - Strong documentation skills with experience producing architecture and migration deliverables. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in client-facing environments. ## Preferred Certifications - CCNP Enterprise and/or CCNP Security. - Cisco SDA, DNA Center, or related Cisco certifications. - Architecture, networking, or cybersecurity certifications will be highly regarded. ## Engagement Details - Contract position. - On-site engagement in Brisbane, QLD. - Immediate or short-notice availability highly desirable. **If you're an experienced Cisco Solution Architect with a strong background in SDA transformation and enterprise network migration programs, we'd love to hear from you.**
