## Software Engineer Python / C# . NET Up to 150,000 Super Brisbane Hybrid Pearson Carter is working with a growing Australian technology provider looking to expand its software engineering team in Brisbane. This is an opportunity to build and improve business-critical applications, develop backend integrations and deliver automation solutions within a collaborative engineering environment. With opportunities available at both **Mid-Level and Senior levels**, you'll work on meaningful projects with genuine ownership and the ability to influence technical decisions. ## Responsibilities - Design, develop and maintain backend applications using **Python and/or C#/. NET**. - Build and integrate REST APIs connecting internal platforms, customer systems and third-party services. - Develop automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. - Maintain and enhance existing applications while contributing to new features and system improvements. - Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable and maintainable software. ## Experience **Essential:** - Commercial software development experience using **Python and/or C#/. NET**. - Strong backend development experience, including REST APIs and third-party integrations. - Experience working with SQL databases and maintaining production applications. - Understanding of software development best practices, testing and version control. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team. **Desirable:** - Experience with Django, FastAPI or ASP. NET. - Knowledge of Linux, Docker, CI/CD pipelines or cloud technologies. - Frontend experience with JavaScript, TypeScript or Vue.js. - Exposure to automation, AI-assisted development tools or AI/LLM agents. - Telecommunications, networking or ISP industry experience. ## Salary Competitive salary packages depending on experience: - **Mid-Level Software Engineer:** 120,000125,000 Super - **Senior Software Engineer:** Up to 150,000 Super You'll also benefit from hybrid working arrangements, technical ownership and the opportunity to contribute to the development of business-critical platforms. ## Location **Brisbane, Queensland Hybrid** 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home.
