**Senior Full Stack Developer up to 85,000 Remote** Pearson Carter are currently working with a well-established, multi-channel retail organisation who are looking to strengthen their development team with an experienced **Senior Full Stack Developer**. Technology plays a key role in the company's operations, and they are investing heavily in their in-house engineering function. You will be working on a range of business-critical retail applications, including mobile solutions used in stores, internal administration platforms and reporting systems. Get in touch if you are looking for your next opportunity! **Responsibilities:** - Design, develop and maintain applications using **C#, React, TypeScript and React Native**. - Build and enhance mobile applications used across the company's retail stores and handheld devices. - Develop web-based administration portals, reporting tools and internal business applications. - Create and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services and integrations with ePOS platforms. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of microservices-based architectures. - Work with both relational and document databases, including SQL Server and MongoDB. - Produce clean, scalable and well-tested code, following established development standards. - Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and collaborative development activities. - Work closely with product teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives. - Help guide and mentor junior developers, sharing technical knowledge and best practices. **Experience:** - At least **6 years' commercial experience with C# / . NET development**. - At least **6 years' commercial experience using React and TypeScript**. - Experience with **React Native**, either commercially or through personal projects. - Strong understanding of database technologies, with experience working with relational or document databases. - Knowledge of **microservices architecture and design principles**. - Experience developing REST APIs and backend services. - Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing and writing maintainable code. - Comfortable working within Agile development teams and adapting to changing project requirements. - Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other developers and stakeholders. - A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to make technical decisions and take ownership of solutions. **Desirable Experience:** - Experience with **Jest and React Testing Library**. - Knowledge of offline-first applications and synchronisation of data between local devices and cloud services. - Experience with technologies such as Ditto, Couchbase Mobile or Firebase. - RabbitMQ / MassTransit. - Micro-frontends and distributed systems. - Entity Framework and MVC. - Azure, Jenkins and Kubernetes. - GitFlow and modern CI/CD practices. - Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior developers. **Salary** They offer a competitive salary and benefits package, alongside a 50% staff discount and 25% discount for family and friends. **Location** This is a **fully remote position**, offering flexibility to work from home.
