## Senior Data Developer Azure & Microsoft Fabric Visa Sponsorship Available ## Company Pearson Carter is partnering with an established digital consultancy delivering Microsoft data, cloud and AI solutions. Youll combine hands-on development with client consulting, helping organisations turn complex data into practical business outcomes. ## Responsibilities - Lead client discovery sessions and translate requirements into scalable data solutions. - Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL solutions and data models across Azure and Microsoft Fabric. - Develop Power BI reporting that supports clear, informed business decisions. - Write production-quality code and contribute to architecture, estimation and presales. - Mentor developers and help shape effective AI-assisted development practices. ## Experience **Essential:** - Strong software and/or data development experience, ideally five years or more. - A software engineering foundation, including building applications, APIs or services using Python, C# or JavaScript. - Experience with Microsoft data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric. - Strong SQL, data modelling, ETL/ELT and Power BI skills. - Confident communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. **Advantageous:** - Consulting experience, including workshops and managing client expectations. - Git, CI/CD, infrastructure as code and test-driven development. - Mentoring, presales or practical experience with AI-assisted development tools.
