## **AI Architect Generative & Agentic AI Adelaide** ## Company Pearson Carter is partnering with an established technology business seeking an AI Architect to shape AI integration across its enterprise platform. Youll combine architecture ownership with hands-on delivery, turning emerging AI capabilities into practical features used in production. ## Responsibilities - Lead the design and integration of Generative AI and agentic AI capabilities into an enterprise web platform. - Own technical decisions across AI models, application architecture and cloud deployment. - Build alongside engineers, taking solutions from early concepts through to reliable production releases. - Establish evaluation, monitoring and engineering standards to improve AI quality, security and performance. - Mentor engineers and work with product stakeholders to translate business priorities into technical solutions. ## Experience **Essential:** - Extensive software engineering experience, including technical leadership and solution architecture. - Hands-on experience delivering Generative AI or agentic AI solutions into production. - Strong understanding of enterprise web applications, APIs and cloud-native architecture. - Experience with AWS or GCP and integrating AI capabilities into existing software platforms. - Ability to explain technical decisions clearly and guide engineering teams. - Australian citizenship is required for defence security clearance eligibility. **Advantageous:** - Experience with RAG, LLM orchestration, AI evaluation and monitoring. - A background working with sensitive data or security-conscious environments. - Experience setting technical standards and leading AI adoption across engineering teams. ## Salary **Flexible salary budget depending on your experience.** Youll have the opportunity to influence AI architecture, remain hands-on with delivery and help shape the technical direction of an established enterprise product. ## Location **Adelaide CBD, South Australia.** Permanent position, primarily office-based, with limited working-from-home flexibility. ## How to Apply Ready to take ownership of production AI delivery?
