Short Summary:
Payrails is a global payment software company focused on optimizing payment operations for enterprises. The Compliance Specialist will ensure compliance with financial-crime, sanctions, and scheme requirements while supporting business growth.

Responsibilities:
- Own and drive key compliance processes across the company.
- Ensure operations, products, and partnerships meet financial-crime, sanctions, and content requirements.
- Conduct business partner due diligence and enhanced due diligence (KYC/KYB).
- Support AML/CTF and sanctions monitoring, including reviewing alerts and investigating suspicious activity.
- Monitor legal, sanctions, and card-scheme developments and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to embed compliance requirements into new products.
- Maintain and improve internal policies, procedures, and controls, and contribute to compliance training.
- Manage relationships with acquirers/PSPs, banking partners, auditors, and card schemes.

Requirement:
- 3-5 years of hands-on compliance experience within payments, fintech, or financial services.
- Experience with KYC/KYB processes, AML/CTF frameworks, and sanctions/AML screening.
- Solid knowledge of financial crime, sanctions, and scheme frameworks.
- Experience working with acquirers/PSPs, auditors, or banking partners.
- Ability to translate complex compliance requirements into clear guidance for non-compliance audiences.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented.
- Fluent in English.
