Senior/ Lead Payment Partnerships Manager (BDM) - PayDo

We are seeking a proactive Senior/ Lead Payment Partnerships Manager (BDM) and results-driven to own, expand, and optimize our global network of payment providers and banking partners. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and onboarding correspondent banks, PSPs, and acquiring partners while aligning commercial terms, geographic coverage, and risk appetite with our strategic business goals.
Your Regular Tasks
Identify, evaluate, and open accounts with correspondent banks, PSPs, EMIs, acquirers, and APM providers globally
Manage partner communication through the full commercial lifecycle from initial outreach and commercial discussions to agreement signing and successful integration.
Manage relationships with existing financial partners, leading contract negotiations, fee reviews, KYB renewals, and partnership expansions.
Define and manage geographic coverage, risk appetite, and commercial terms with financial partners to support high-risk and digital merchant needs.
Drive re-onboarding of providers under new licenses and support expansion into new regulated jurisdictions.
Work closely with Compliance, Risk, and Legal teams to ensure smooth KYB/AML onboarding processes for both PayDo and partner institutions.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align available payment solutions and APIs with business needs and partner requirements.
Share market insights, competitor trends, and regulatory updates with senior management to identify new commercial opportunities.
Skills & Requirements
5+ years of proven experience in FinTech Business Development, Banking Partnerships, or Merchant Acquiring (EMIs, PSPs, Neobanks, or Payment Orchestration platforms).
Strong background in establishing relationships with banks, acquirers, and PSPs, with deep knowledge of SWIFT, SEPA, IBAN solutions, and Alternative Payment Methods (APMs).
Solid understanding of financial regulations, risk frameworks, and Compliance requirements (KYC, KYB, CDD/EDD, AML).
Exceptional negotiation skills, commercial contract drafting, and relationship-building capabilities.
Strong troubleshooting mindset, ability to navigate complex cross-departmental alignment, and a self-driven attitude.
English – Advanced level, Russian – Native.
