Short Summary:
The Finance Manager role was created to add senior-level capacity to the UK Finance team and to enhance the control environment in preparation for an external audit cycle. You will be the Finance Director's deputy and will have one direct report (Management Accountant).
Responsibilities:
- Financial Control & Reporting
- Tax & Treasury
- Regulatory Capital & Governance
- People & Automation
Requirement:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience at an FCA-authorised firm (investment management, stockbroking, spread betting, banking, or fintech).
- Strong IFRS technical knowledge and ability to prepare statutory financial statements, develop accounting policies, and document conclusions for audit purposes.
- Working knowledge of CASS 7 (client money segregation) and obligations for FCA (MIFIDPRU) investment firms.
- Self-starter with judgement and communication skills to represent Finance at Board, ExCo, and regulatory forums.
