Graham Grantham graham.grantham@parksiderec.com APPLY NOW BACK TO VACANCIES Commercial Manager - Data Centres Europe | Regular European Travel | Competitive Package + Car Allowance + Bonus An established international construction specialist is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to support its continued growth across the European data centre market. This is a senior commercial position offering responsibility across multiple high-value, technically complex data centre projects throughout Europe. You will lead and support a team of Quantity Surveyors, taking ownership of commercial performance across both pre- and post-contract activities while working closely with project teams, clients, supply chain partners and senior leadership. The Role As Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the commercial function across multiple European data centre projects
• Managing, mentoring and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors
• Overseeing contract procurement, commercial risk and project risk profiling
• Driving project profitability, cash flow and overall commercial performance
• Preparing and maintaining project cash-flow forecasts and financial reporting
• Protecting the company's contractual and financial position throughout the project lifecycle
• Managing subcontractor and material procurement
• Supporting claims management and dispute resolution
• Developing commercial strategies in response to changing project requirements
• Working closely with delivery teams to manage contractual notices, delays, variations and claims
• Ensuring accurate commercial records are maintained to support contractual positions
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, professional teams and supply chain partners
• Driving timely and effective financial close-out across projects

About You We are looking for an experienced commercial professional with:

• A strong Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management background
• Experience managing the commercial delivery of multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience within data centres, mission-critical construction, fit-out or complex industrial environments
• Previous responsibility for leading and developing Quantity Surveyors
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, procurement and commercial risk
• Experience managing subcontractor and material procurement
• A good understanding of claims management and dispute resolution
• Experience preparing, analysing and presenting project financial reports
• A track record of improving project profitability and cash performance
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• The flexibility to travel regularly across Europe
