Middle Video Editor for a US DTC Brand (Remote)

About the role

You turn raw footage and a script into finished vertical ads. Fast pacing, tight cuts, captions and music. The work is high volume and the standard does not drop.

What you will do

• Edit direct response short-form vertical video ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube
• Work from scripts and briefs supplied by the creative team
• Add captions,b-roll, music, sound design and basic colour grading
• Produce multiple variations and hook tests from the same footage
• Deliver on a same or next day turnaround

Requirements

• 2+ years editing short-form video, ideally performance ads for ecommerce brands
• Strong sense of pacing, rhythm and storytelling
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve
• Able to sustain volume without quality slipping
• Organised with files and versions
• Motion graphics and After Effects
• Experience with UGC and creator footage
• Understanding of what makes an ad hook work in the first three seconds
