Middle Media Buyer, Youtube

About Oxford Road

Oxford Road is the world’s largest podcast advertising agency. We unite brands and creators through strategy and technology for outcomes only we can deliver.

Since the beginning of podcasting, we’ve been here building the playbook, setting the standards, and scaling brands through the power of audio and creator-driven media. Today, we manage campaigns across podcasts, radio, streaming audio, YouTube, and emerging creator platforms for clients that include half of the top advertisers in podcasting.

What really sets us apart? We’re not just buying media. We’re shaping the market itself.

Our thought leadership defines the conversation. Our newsletter reaches thousands of industry decision-makers every week. Our podcast, The Media Roundtable, convenes the most influential voices in audio advertising. Our annual Chief Audio Officer Summit is the premier gathering for marketers, platforms, and creators shaping the future of the medium. Our research (from attribution methodologies to brand safety frameworks) becomes industry standard.

We don’t wait for the market to tell us what’s next. We build it.

About the role

As a YouTube Media Buyer at Oxford Road, you plan, negotiate, buy, and optimize YouTube influencer media campaigns that drive results for our clients. You lead execution on your accounts with senior oversight, collaborate across internal teams and vendor partners, and are accountable for the quality and defensibility of every recommendation that leaves your hands.

Media Planning & Buying

• Develop client-focused media plans with full rationale — rate, timing, placement, and strategic fit.
• Check prior pitches and run history before building a plan

• Verify channel activity, content fit, and view accuracy
• Maintain a rolling pipeline of proposals and manage budgets alongside the client services team

Campaign Execution & Optimization

• Lead day-to-day execution on campaigns with senior oversight
• Monitor and analyze performance against client KPIs; implement real-time optimizations
• Address ad hoc client requests to support strategy and evolving needs
• Assist with invoice reconciliation and resolution for delivery or billing discrepancies

• Build and maintain strong relationships with networks and talent
• Play an essential role in negotiating agency-wide partnership deals
