Short Summary:
Oddball is seeking a Proposal Writer to lead content strategy and production for responses to government RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and other external deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Lead content planning, writing, graphics ideation, peer reviews, and editing across proposal volumes and artifacts.
- Collaborate with proposal, business development, capture, solutioning, and operations teams to develop compliant and compelling proposals.
- Interview subject matter experts to extract and distill technical information into clear narratives and graphics.
- Manage relationships to ensure consistent input and alignment in the proposal process.
- Use AI ethically to enhance content production and improve proposal quality.
- Contribute to the writing practice and broader Growth team at Oddball.
Requirement:
- Proven experience leading proposal volumes for U.S. federal government clients.
- Exceptional writing skills to convey complex technical concepts.
- Familiarity with U.S. federal agencies and experience with VA, CMS, SEC, and DoW preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal contracting, FAR, and business development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of government technology concepts like agile, human-centered design, and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to excel under deadline pressure and in collaborative environments.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills.
- Intellectual curiosity about Oddball's work and its impact.
