Product Engineer
Job description
nyra health builds the digital tools that make neurological rehabilitation work inside and outside clinic walls: myReha, the patient therapy app, and nyra insights, the clinician platform. 100+ clinics, 100K+ patients across DACH. 3× MRR growth target for 2026. €20M Series A. Team of 30+, scaling to ~50 this year. Ownership, excellence and patients first: that's how we drive progress together.
This is a product engineer role for someone who designs and builds. You'll own our clinician-facing product nyra insights end to end and shape rough problems to a polished, shipped surface that 100+ clinics use every day. You care how the product looks and feels, you build with AI, and you'd rather ship and iterate than wait for a spec.
What you'll work on
The clinician platform (nyra insights): patient management, therapy planning, progress tracking and documentation. Clinicians are raising the standards of digital neurotherapy, and you'll own how it works and how it feels.
Content Studio: our AI-powered surface where therapists generate personalised therapy materials using nyra AI. You'll shape a genuinely AI-native product that simplifies therapists' lives and improves patients' outcomes.
Craft and design: you own the interaction, the polish and the accessibility of what you ship, across browsers and devices. You design and build.
Building with AI: you use AI daily to move fast, and you build AI into the product itself, from LLM-powered clinician workflows to smart defaults that save therapists time.
Fullstack ownership: you ship end to end in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind and Node.js, keep the codebase clean and fast, and integrate cleanly with the patient-facing myReha app.
Job requirements
What you bring
Must-have
Design-minded builder: strong visual and interaction taste, and some digital products you've personally designed and shipped that prove it.
Product ownership: you drive features from a high level problem to something live. You enjoy talking to users, making the calls, and treating the outcome as yours rather than waiting to be told what to build.
Builds with AI: LLMs and AI tools are already core to how you work, and you've built AI into real products.
Fullstack range: you're genuinely strong in Next.js and TypeScript, comfortable across Node.js and can own a feature all the way to the database.
Senior: ~4+ years shipping production web products, with a track record of owning features from concept to deployment.
Nice to have
Design systems or component-library leadership.
Healthcare, medtech or another regulated domain (helpful, not required: the domain is learnable).
Deeper backend or data-modelling experience (Postgres, Firebase).
Why nyra
You own the product: this is a real design-engineer seat in a health company that cares how the product feels. You'll shape what every clinician sees, with direct product ownership from day one.
Patients first, always: everything we build is measured by whether it helps patients recover.
Ownership and direct access: you'll see the direct impact of your work and be accountable for outcomes, not just outputs. Founders, ML engineers and practising clinicians are in the same room, decisions move fast, and you're part of them.
Transparent, direct culture: open communication and honest feedback are how we operate.
AI-native: every team member has Claude Pro and is expected to use AI tools daily.
