Short Summary:
We are looking for a Distinguished Engineer to help define the future of GPU memory, on-chip interconnect, and architectural simulation at NVIDIA. This role focuses on long-term architecture strategy, simulation methodology, and product impact.
Responsibilities:
- Define the strategy for next-generation GPU memory and NoC performance and functional models.
- Guide the use of simulation, emulation, workload analysis, and AI-assisted model generation.
- Identify bottlenecks and opportunities across GPU memory systems and interconnects.
- Translate insights into architecture recommendations and modeling priorities.
- Establish modeling standards and validation approaches.
- Work across teams to connect requirements with scalable technical solutions.
- Communicate recommendations to senior leaders, including trade-offs and expected performance impact.
- Mentor senior engineers and influence the long-term direction of GPU architecture.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 18+ years of relevant professional experience in architecture, modeling, or simulation systems.
- Deep experience in GPU architecture and performance modeling expertise.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Clear communication and strong technical leadership skills.
