The Opportunity
NTT DATA is seeking a Platforms Go-To-Market Director, North America to lead the regional commercialization and growth of our Global Assets portfolio.
Reporting to the Head of North America and the Head of Global Assets Business Development, this leader will translate global strategy into an actionable North American go-to-market plan. The Director will connect client needs, market insights, product capabilities, sales execution, and delivery to generate sustainable revenue and measurable client value.
This highly visible role requires strategic leadership, hands-on business development, executive relationship management, and the ability to influence teams across a complex, multinational organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market Strategy
- Lead the annual go-to-market strategy and operating plan for the Global Assets portfolio across North America.
- Translate global priorities into regional plans with defined markets, accounts, tactics, performance measures, and stakeholder accountabilities.
- Create a repeatable GTM framework for launching, positioning, selling, and scaling Global Assets solutions.
- Align regional sales teams, Industry Leaders, and Client Executives around priority opportunities.
- Conduct regular business reviews covering pipeline, forecasts, commercial performance, risks, and strategic priorities.
Business Development and Sales
- Lead complex opportunities from identification and qualification through proposal, negotiation, closing, and expansion.
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline aligned with revenue and profitability objectives.
- Conduct executive-level discovery sessions to understand client priorities, challenges, workflows, and desired outcomes.
- Position Global Assets solutions as a means to reduce costs, improve operations, enable growth, and create competitive advantage.
- Coordinate product demonstrations and lead the development of technical and commercial proposals with product and presales teams.
- Manage commercial negotiations and build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities that strengthen client satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
Portfolio Commercialization
- Develop and execute launch and commercialization strategies for new and existing solutions.
- Translate customer needs, competitive intelligence, and market trends into product requirements and positioning.
- Partner with product management, marketing, development, presales, and delivery teams to influence product roadmaps and market priorities.
- Manage commercialization activities across the product lifecycle, including messaging, enablement, launch coordination, and customer adoption.
- Analyze emerging technologies, customer requirements, and competitive gaps to identify new market opportunities.
Cross-Functional and Delivery Leadership
- Build strong relationships across regional and global sales, marketing, product, presales, delivery, partner, and alliance teams.
- Enable internal teams to identify, position, and advance Global Assets opportunities.
- Maintain continuity from initial client engagement through contracting, implementation, and expansion.
- Help ensure solutions are delivered in accordance with client expectations, contractual commitments, revenue goals, and profitability targets.
- Support appropriate governance of client, partner, and alliance agreements.
People Leadership
- Lead and develop a team that may include managers and individual contributors.
- Establish measurable objectives and regularly review individual and team performance.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and client-focused execution.
Qualifications:
Required Experience
- Seven or more years of progressively responsible experience in technology consulting, enterprise software, digital solutions, product marketing, sales, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in software product presales, product sales, or go-to-market execution.
- Demonstrated success developing and leading GTM, product commercialization, or market-entry strategies.
- Experience managing complex enterprise opportunities from identification through negotiation and closing.
- Experience translating customer and market insights into product requirements, positioning, and commercialization plans.
- Experience working across product, marketing, development, sales, presales, and delivery functions.
- People management experience leading managers and/or individual contributors.
- Experience operating within a large, global, or highly matrixed organization.
Preferred Experience
- Experience commercializing enterprise software, digital platforms, or technology-enabled services.
- Knowledge of the North American technology market, including experience in Mexico.
- Experience working for or partnering with leading software vendors.
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, retail, utilities, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence, data management, automation, virtual assistants, collaboration, or extended reality solutions.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, engineering, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
- Relevant professional or technical certifications are a plus.
Work Environment
- We welcome candidates from across the region, with a preference for those based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
- Travel to the Dallas office is required a minimum of two times per month.
- Additional domestic and occasional international travel may be required based on customer, business, and team needs.
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is 160K-296K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
