Integration Engineer (Full-Stack)

About the companyWe are recruiting on behalf of a US-based technology company transforming how real estate professionals run their businesses. Its platform brings together CRM, marketing, communication and business workflows in one product used by real estate teams in the US. This is a high-impact backend role for an engineer who enjoys working with large datasets, complex APIs and production systems at scale. You will have genuine ownership of features, from technical planning through to production, while working closely with a distributed US engineering team. About the roleWe are looking for a mid-level Integration Engineer focused on building and maintaining integrations with third-party platforms. Most of the work will involve APIs, backend development, data transformation and troubleshooting. ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain third-party API integrationsWork with REST APIs, OAuth, API keys and webhooksMap and transform data between systemsDevelop backend features with Node.js, TypeScript and PostgreSQLContribute to React features when requiredTroubleshoot integration issues and improve reliabilityWork with Product and Engineering teams and external partnersManage multiple integration projects independentlyRequirementsHands-on experience with APIs and third-party integrationsStrong software engineering fundamentalsUnderstanding of authentication, databases and data modelsBackend or full-stack development experienceStrong debugging and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and understand existing codebasesFluent English and strong communication skillsExperience with Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and React is a plus, but expertise in every technology is not required. Additional detailsThe role is approximately 70–80% backend and integration work and 20–30% frontend/application work. AI tools are actively used in development. You may use them extensively, but you must be able to understand, validate and debug the code they produce. The schedule is flexible, with sufficient overlap with U. S. Central Time required. The interview process will focus on communication, engineering fundamentals, API experience and independent problem-solving. A practical API integration task may be included.
