We are seeking a senior, innovation-focused AI Platform Architect to design, prototype, and help bring to market AI-driven solutions that address real-world business challenges. This role sits at the intersection of emerging technology, solution architecture, and go-to-market enablement, with a strong emphasis on large language models (LLMs), generative AI, intelligent agents, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.

The AI Platform Architect will work closely with technology, engineering, security, sales, and delivery teams to translate rapidly evolving AI capabilities into scalable, secure, supportable, and commercially viable solutions. This individual will lead proof-of-concept initiatives, evaluate emerging AI technologies and platforms, and help establish the architecture, standards, and delivery approaches needed to successfully deploy AI solutions for clients.

Essential Functions

Lead the research, evaluation, and practical application of emerging AI technologies, with a focus on LLMs, generative AI, AI agents, automation, and intelligent workflow platforms.
Architect end-to-end AI solutions that are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and operationally sustainable.
Design and deliver proof-of-concept implementations to validate AI use cases, technical feasibility, and potential business value.
Help develop and evolve AI-enabled solutions and services from initial concept through production implementation and market launch.
Collaborate with engineering, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to establish reference architectures, design patterns, integration approaches, and technical standards for AI solutions.
Ensure AI solutions align with business objectives, governance requirements, security best practices, data protection considerations, and responsible AI principles.
Partner with sales and customer-facing teams to support solution development, client discussions, technical presentations, pilots, and validation activities.
Translate complex AI concepts and architectures into clear, practical guidance for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Evaluate emerging AI platforms, frameworks, models, and tooling to identify technologies with potential business and technical value.
Monitor industry trends, research developments, and advancements in AI platforms and architectures to inform technology strategy and solution roadmaps.
Develop technical documentation, architecture materials, enablement resources, and internal training related to AI solutions and capabilities.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship related to AI architecture, solution design, and emerging technology adoption.
Participate in cross-functional planning and strategy sessions to align AI initiatives with broader technology and business objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
8+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, product development, or other advanced technical roles involving the design and delivery of complex technology solutions.
Hands-on experience designing, prototyping, and/or implementing AI, machine learning, generative AI, or LLM-based solutions in applied or production environments.
Experience translating emerging technologies into practical solutions that can be deployed and supported at scale.
One or more relevant industry certifications in cloud architecture, AI, machine learning, data, or security are preferred.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of modern AI architectures, including LLM applications, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent-based systems, AI orchestration, automation workflows, and API/integration patterns.
Experience designing and integrating solutions across cloud, hybrid, and enterprise technology environments.
Familiarity with major cloud AI services, foundation models, AI development frameworks, and emerging AI platforms.
Ability to rapidly evaluate new technologies and determine their practical applicability, technical risks, and potential business value.
Understanding of AI security, governance, data privacy, responsible AI, and enterprise deployment considerations.
Strong architecture and systems-integration skills, with the ability to design solutions that balance innovation, scalability, security, cost, and operational requirements.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to executives, business stakeholders, engineers, and other audiences.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across engineering, architecture, security, sales, and delivery functions.
