JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced SAP Vistex Functional Pricing Architect to design, optimize and evolve complex enterprise pricing processes within an SAP environment. This role is ideal for a senior functional consultant or architect with deep expertise in SAP Vistex Data Maintenance and Pricing (DMP), strong knowledge of SAP pricing architecture and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable pricing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing Architecture & Solution Design

• Design complex enterprise pricing strategies and processes using SAP Vistex Data Maintenance and Pricing (DMP)
• Define scalable functional architecture for price setting, maintenance, governance and approval processes
• Translate complex business pricing requirements into robust and maintainable Vistex solution designs
• Define functional solution patterns supporting consistent pricing processes across products, markets and organizational structures
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and optimize pricing processes within the SAP landscape
• Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture, operational and business requirements

Vistex Pricing Processes & Governance

• Design and configure Vistex Price Review, Price Proposal and Price Approval processes
• Define approval workflows, pricing governance models and authorization hierarchies
• Design, structure and maintain Price Books and Price Catalogs according to business requirements
• Support pricing simulations, scenario analysis and impact assessments before implementation
• Define efficient price-maintenance processes supporting both operational usability and governance requirements
• Ensure pricing rules and approval processes remain transparent, auditable and maintainable

SAP Integration & Functional Architecture

• Define integration requirements between Vistex and the surrounding SAP landscape
• Ensure effective integration of Vistex pricing processes with SAP SD and related business processes
• Analyze dependencies between pricing, master data, sales processes and downstream SAP components
• Support solution design within SAP HANA-based environments and SAP S/4HANA landscapes where applicable
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, developers, integration teams and solution architects to ensure end-to-end solution consistency
• Identify integration risks, functional dependencies and potential impacts across the wider SAP ecosystem

Functional Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand pricing models, operational requirements and governance needs
• Facilitate functional workshops and support decision-making around pricing architecture and process design
• Prepare and maintain functional specifications, solution documentation and process-design materials
• Support configuration, testing, defect resolution and implementation activities throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Define functional test scenarios and support business validation and User Acceptance Testing
• Collaborate with distributed SAP implementation teams and coordinate functional dependencies across workstreams
• Provide functional guidance and architectural expertise throughout implementation and rollout activities

• Strong functional experience with SAP Vistex, with deep hands-on knowledge of the Data Maintenance and Pricing (DMP) module
• Proven experience designing complex enterprise pricing solutions in SAP environments
• Hands-on experience with Vistex Price Review, Price Proposal and Price Approval processes
• Strong experience designing and managing Vistex Price Books and Price Catalogs
• Practical knowledge of pricing simulations and scenario-based pricing analysis
• Strong understanding of SAP pricing architecture, condition techniques and SAP SD integration
• Experience translating complex business pricing requirements into scalable functional solution designs
• Strong understanding of pricing governance, approval workflows and enterprise price-management processes
• Experience defining functional integration requirements across SAP systems and modules
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications and user interfaces
• Experience working with SAP HANA-based environments
• Strong functional documentation, process-design and requirements-analysis skills
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication capabilities across business and technical teams
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to evaluate complex pricing scenarios and dependencies
• Ability to independently drive functional architecture decisions and challenge inefficient or overly complex solutions

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, transformations or migration programs
• Experience supporting international or multi-country pricing processes
• Experience leading SAP pricing workstreams or functional architecture activities
• Experience designing enterprise-wide pricing governance frameworks and approval hierarchies
• Familiarity with pricing analytics, reporting and pricing-performance monitoring
• Experience working with global or distributed SAP implementation teams
• Experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation or ERP modernization programs
• Understanding of master-data dependencies and their impact on enterprise pricing processes
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple business units, markets or pricing models
