Product Marketing Engineer
Product Marketing Engineer — Power Management
Business Group ICS | Power MAG | Dallas, TX
About the role
Nexperia is seeking a technically strong Product Marketing Engineer (PME) to drive the go-to-market engine for our Power Management new product introductions for Power switches, ideal diodes, PMICs and DC-DC converters.
This is a hands-on technical marketing role. You will translate silicon into demand: building the technical sales collateral that lets our global field force sell new devices, running the digital and webinar programs that put those devices in front of designers, owning the internal sales portal that keeps the field current, and acting as the eyes and ears of the Power MAG in the market; bringing back the competitive data and customer insight that shapes what we build next.
The role sits at the center of Product Management, Applications, Systems Engineering, Regional Marketing, and Global Sales, and reports into the Power MAG organization.
Key responsibilities
Technical sales collateral and NPI launch content
· Own the creation of technical sales collateral for Power Management NPIs including GTM file, product briefs, selection guides, competitive comparison tables, application notes, pitch decks, and design-in guides for eFuses, load switches, ideal diodes, PMICs and DC-DC converters.
· Build the technical narrative for each new device: target applications, differentiation versus the incumbent, key performance parameters, and the specific reasons a designer should switch.
· Develop and maintain cross-selling and pin-to-pin replacement material that maps Nexperia devices against competitive parts.
· Partner with Applications and Systems Engineering to convert bench data, EVM results, and reference designs into field-ready sales tools.
· Drive launch readiness for each NPI so that collateral, pricing guidance, samples, and field training are complete at release, not after it.
Digital content and webinars
· Plan, produce, and deliver technical webinars and live training sessions for the global sales force, distribution partners, and customers.
· Generate digital sales content product and application videos, animated explainers, online demos, social and web content and drive its publication across nexperia.com and third-party design portals.
· Own the Power Management product content on nexperia.com: page structure, parametric accuracy, application landing pages, and search discoverability.
· Track engagement and lead-generation metrics on digital content and use them to prioritize what gets produced next.
Internal sales portal ownership
· Own and maintain the internal sales portal for Power Management as the single source of truth for the field.
· Keep NPI status, product roadmaps, positioning material, pricing guidance, sales videos, and collateral current and version-controlled.
· Establish a release cadence and content governance so material is refreshed as devices move through the NPI gates rather than getting out of date.
· Drive adoption of the portal with Regional Marketing and Global Sales, and act on feedback about what the field cannot find or does not have.
Market, competitive, and customer intelligence
· Serve as the eyes and ears of the Power MAG in the field by directly engaging with sales teams, distributors, and customers to understand where we win, where we lose, and why.
· Collect, structure, and maintain competitive intelligence on Power Management devices: parametric benchmarking, packaging, pricing dynamics, roadmap moves, and design-win activity.
· Bring back actionable input on portfolio gaps: what customers need, what is missing from the current lineup, and what would make a new device sellable.
· Feed customer and competitive insight into product definition, business cases, and roadmap reviews with Product Management and R&D.
· Support design-in and design-win conversion by working with Regional Marketing Managers on target accounts and hero opportunities.
Cross-functional execution
· Work closely with Product Managers, Applications Engineers, Systems Engineering, and Regional Marketing across Dallas, Nijmegen, Hamburg, and Asia sites.
· Contribute to portfolio positioning, pricing strategy, and demand generation planning for the Power Management portfolio.
· Represent Power Management products at trade shows, customer technical reviews, and industry events.
What you will need
· 5+ years of relevant experience as a technical marketing engineer or technical marketing manager or application engineer in the semiconductor industry.
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering: Master's preferred.
· Demonstrated hands-on experience with power management ICs: eFuses, load switches, ideal diodes, PMIC, DC-DC converters, or closely adjacent power devices.
· Proven track record of authoring technical sales collateral that the field uses: selection guides, competitive benchmarks, application notes, and launch material.
· Experience delivering technical webinars and live customer or sales training with confidence in front of an engineering audience.
· Practical fluency in digital content creation: video, web content management, and design-portal publishing and comfort with the tools involved.
· Ability to read datasheets, interpret bench and characterization data, and turn it into a differentiated positioning argument without needing an engineer to write it for you.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; able to hold a technical conversation with a customer design engineer and a commercial conversation with a sales director on the same day.
· Self-directed and organized, with the discipline to keep a content library current across a fast-moving NPI pipeline.
· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Desirable
· Direct experience marketing protection or power-path devices (eFuse, ideal diode, hot-swap, load switch) against established incumbents.
· Exposure to automotive, industrial, or data center / AI server power applications.
· Experience owning or administering a sales enablement platform, PIM, or CMS.
· Familiarity with competitive intelligence tooling and parametric benchmarking methodology.
· Prior experience working across a globally distributed marketing and sales organization.
