NetImpact Strategies has an opportunity for a SharePoint / Web Administrator to manage training-site content and support accessible, reliable digital learning resources for a federal healthcare technology program. This role maintains SharePoint training sites and related web content, organizes approved materials, manages publication workflows, and helps instructors and learners find current guidance. Working with training coordinators, content developers, subject matter experts, and Government site owners, the administrator keeps training repositories accurate, searchable, and aligned with approved curricula and system releases; this position is remote.
Responsibilities
- Administer assigned SharePoint training sites, pages, document libraries, lists, navigation, and related web content within authorized permissions.
- Publish approved curricula, instructor and student guides, quick-reference materials, training schedules, announcements, and learning-system links.
- Organize content using consistent metadata, naming conventions, categories, and audience labels to improve searchability and usability.
- Maintain version control, approval status, publication dates, and review schedules so users can identify and access current training materials.
- Coordinate content updates with training and change-management personnel, instructional designers, subject matter experts, and Government reviewers.
- Maintain publishing and approval workflows; track pending submissions and resolve administrative issues affecting timely publication.
- Review sites for broken links, outdated documents, duplicate materials, navigation problems, and accessibility issues; coordinate corrections and approved archival actions.
- Configure site and library permissions within delegated authority, conduct access reviews, and escalate access requirements to Government site owners.
- Maintain training calendars, resource pages, and approved announcements that support scheduled instruction and release readiness.
- Test page layouts, links, embedded content, forms, and downloads before publication and following approved changes.
- Analyze available site usage, search behavior, and user feedback to recommend improvements to content organization and the training-site experience.
- Troubleshoot site-content and user-access issues; coordinate platform-level problems with enterprise SharePoint or infrastructure administrators.
- Maintain site inventories, content-management procedures, publishing records, and administrative documentation.
- Follow applicable Section 508 accessibility, privacy, security, branding, and records-management requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, web administration, communications, information management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- At least three years of experience administering SharePoint sites, managing web content, or supporting enterprise content-management platforms.
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint pages, document libraries, lists, metadata, navigation, permissions, versioning, and approval workflows.
- Experience managing content reviews, publication schedules, and controlled document repositories.
- Ability to organize complex information into clear, usable site structures for different audiences.
- Working knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements and accessible web and document-publishing practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, written communication, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required Government system access and satisfy applicable Tier 3 background investigation requirements.
- Ability to complete required privacy, security, and information-handling training. No specific professional certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience maintaining federal healthcare, training, knowledge-management, or employee-enablement portals.
- Familiarity with both modern and classic SharePoint sites.
- Experience using Power Automate or comparable approved tools for content-review and publication workflows.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web-content troubleshooting.
- Experience using site analytics, search reports, or user feedback to improve navigation and content discovery.
- Familiarity with links and interfaces between SharePoint training repositories and learning management systems.
- Relevant Microsoft, SharePoint, accessibility, or web-administration certification.
Location Requirement
