Senior Growth / Demand Generation Manager

About Us

We're living through a fundamental shift in how people discover, evaluate, and purchase products. The next generation doesn't respond to traditional marketing -- they build relationships with brands through authentic social interactions, seek recommendations from communities they trust, and expect personalized experiences that feel human, not corporate.

At Nectar, we're building the AI-native social operating system that enables this new era of commerce. We believe every social interaction should deepen the relationship between brands and their communities while creating genuine value for both sides.

Founded by ex-Meta product and engineering leaders, we've raised over $30M in total capital from investors including GV and True Ventures. We work with brands like Oura Health, Caraway, e.l.f. Cosmetics, Kosas, OLIPOP, and many more. We're building the future of social commerce -- where community, conversation, and commerce converge.

The Role

We're looking for a bold, creative Senior Growth / Demand Generation Manager to build and scale the pipeline engine behind Nectar's growth. Reporting to VP, GTM, you'll own our acquisition strategy end-to-end, from paid and organic channels to the creative ideas that make people stop scrolling, and turn our marketing spend into measurable pipeline and revenue.

Our buyers are community managers, social media managers, and CMOs at consumer brands. They live on social, can spot generic B2B marketing instantly, and trust their peers more than any ad. Winning them takes creativity as much as rigor: showing up where they already spend their time, in a voice they recognize, with campaigns worth sharing. This is a senior, high-impact role where you'll define how Nectar reaches that audience and build the demand generation function as we scale.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own Nectar's demand generation strategy and influence sales pipeline, from channel mix and budget allocation to forecasting and reporting to leadership

• Lead paid search, social, and sponsorships and reach our champions and buyers where they already are: LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, industry communities, newsletters, podcasts, creator partnerships, and more

• Partner with Creative to concept and launch social-first campaigns that feel native to the platforms our buyers use every day and stand out from typical B2B marketing

• Discover, test, and scale new acquisition channels, and kill the ones that don't perform

• Design nurture programs for new prospects and cross-sell audiences within our existing customer base

• Analyze program performance and turn the data into recommendations that improve conversion across ads, landing pages, and the full funnel

• Stand up an account based marketing strategy alongside sales to deliver meaningful engagement across key accounts

• Work with revenue operations to optimize our marketing tech stack, attribution, and campaign ROI reporting

What We're Looking For

• 4-7 years of growth or demand generation experience in B2B SaaS and/or AI-native companies, including ownership of a meaningful pipeline target and budget

• A portfolio of creative, unconventional campaigns that drove measurable pipeline, not just impressions

• Deep fluency in social platforms and the culture around them: you know how social and community teams think and what earns their attention, or can demonstrate an ability to ramp on this ICP quickly

• Hands-on experience with AI-native tools like Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, or other LLM-powered workflows

• Track record launching and scaling paid campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and X

• Proficiency with marketing automation, email, A/B testing, and personalization tools, plus Salesforce, Google Analytics, and more

• Experience building a function at an early-stage company, with the judgment to operate independently and drive complex cross-functional projects to completion

• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments in a fast-moving startup

Bonus Points

• Experience in martech, social media platforms, or commerce-related software

• Experience marketing to consumer brands or DTC marketing, social, and community teams

• Experience running account-based marketing programs for enterprise and mid-market buyers

• Experience working at a company through a Series A or Series B growth phase

What We Offer

• Competitive compensation and early equity

• Health, vision, and dental benefits + 401(k) match

• ClassPass membership for fitness and wellness classes

• $50/month mobile stipend for all employees, and $50/month internet stipend for remote employees

For our Palo Alto Office:

• Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office, plus 3 remote flex days per quarter (after your first 3 months)

• Free lunch in the office

• $1,000/month housing stipend for living near the office

• Fully paid for commuter benefits (train stipend or Palo Alto parking reimbursement)
