Short Summary:
Join a founding engineering team to build core systems for a modern retail brokerage focused on cross-border investing, leveraging AI and resilient infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Build the financial foundation: Own services driving order lifecycles, internal ledgers, multi-currency funding flows, and automated reconciliation.
- Scale with precision: Develop high-throughput, fault-tolerant infrastructure for a growing user base.
- Set engineering standards: Collaborate with the CTO to define standards for correctness and operational excellence.
- Design and maintain core financial engine and resilient architecture.
- Integrate with partner clearing broker-dealers and banking rails.
- Ensure production excellence and build internal operational tooling.
- Support data pipelines for AI research and content translation.

Requirement:
- 6+ years of experience in building and maintaining high-availability production backend systems.
- Proven track record with mission-critical systems handling sensitive transactions.
- Deep expertise in modern backend languages (Go, Python, Node.js, Rust, Java) and production data infrastructure.
- Strong instincts for distributed systems trade-offs and production maturity.
- Startup mindset with comfort in ambiguity and pragmatic engineering trade-offs.
