About the Role & The Team

You will join the IT Solutions Delivery department of an established, data-driven technology company. We are currently undergoing a large-scale technological transformation—modernizing our core architecture, developing a cutting-edge data platform, and standardizing engineering practices across the board.

Our department combines software development, architecture, systems analysis, and infrastructure operations. We take full, end-to-end ownership of our solutions lifecycle: from the initial design and deployment to maintenance and continuous enhancement. What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, and optimize high-availability backend systems.

• Drive and own key architectural and technological decisions within your domain.

• Analyze business requirements, autonomously plan technical tasks, and estimate solutions.

• Build and maintain integrations with distributed databases and message broker systems.

• Elevate the team’s engineering culture through knowledge sharing, comprehensive code reviews, and mentoring.

What We Expect:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in Python with a deep understanding of its ecosystem.

• Proven commercial track record working with Django, specifically in building and scaling REST APIs.

• Strong, practical knowledge of MySQL, Cassandra, and ClickHouse.

• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ and asynchronous communication patterns.

• A high degree of independence—you are comfortable owning a feature end-to-end, from gathering requirements to deployment and post-release maintenance.

• Excellent capability to estimate time and complexity, coupled with a critical, problem-solving approach to business requirements.

• A proactive, "can-do" mentality focused on achieving goals and finding optimal technical solutions.

• English proficiency allowing for seamless daily communication.

Nice to Have:

• Commercial experience working with Apache Spark and Big Data processing.
