Cable Infrastructure MAC Coordinator & Project Manager - Telecommunications Network Analyst II - Digital and Technology Partners - Onsite - MSSN

This position is 100% onsite at MSSN (Mount Sinai South Nassau) as the primary location; requires travel as needed to other locations, including ambulatory clinics and other hospital sites.

We are seeking a Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) Cable Infrastructure Coordinator and Project Manager, to join our dynamic team on-site three days / remote two days a week at Mount Sinai Health System. The candidate should have experience working with Information Technology Ticketing Systems and have a base knowledge of Cable Infrastructure, Network and Telecommunication Services.  This position will play a crucial role in implementation, and support our low voltage cable infrastructure environment, ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of this critical infrastructure which supports patient care, research and administration for the entire health system.

Key Responsibilities:

Cable Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC)
·    Coordinate Service NOW Incident and Request Tickets (Mount Sinai end users)
·    Coordinate Podio Incident and Request Tickets (Mount Sinai Cable Contractors)
·    Do walkthroughs with End user to create Scope of Work
·    Interface with Cable Contractor and oversee installation and completion of the ticket work.
·    Provide any Patient Control Risk Assessment, PCRA, Infection Control Risk Assessment ICRA and Life Safety permits needed for tickets

Parts Inventory and Tracking
·    Coordinate Cable Material orders and deliveries with Material vendors 
·    Inventory and track material orders and deliveries
·    Track Vendor and contractor cover spending using Excel

Design/Documentation
·    Markup PDF drawings using REVU Bluebeam showing Cable locations, pathways, and Fire wall penetrations
·    As build existing Bluebeam and Visio drawings
·    Create/as build Excel Cable Run lists

Project Management
·    Oversee small to medium projects within the Health System
·    Interface with Facilities PM’s, Architects, and Engineers on Cable Infrastructure Designs
·    Do walkthroughs with End user to create scope of work, SOWs
·    Coordinate work with Cable Contractors and the Network and Telecommunication teams.
·    Coordinate work with Cable Contractors and the Network and Telecommunication teams.
·    Provide oversight of onsite cable contractors and address field conditions as they arise
·    Close out projects promptly and ensure as-built drawings are updated and budgets are closed out
·    Follow internal processes for Infectious Control, Life, Fire Safety, etc.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Seven years of experience in all phases of telecommunications in all phases of telecommunications and network management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting and administering Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OmniPCX Enterprise (OXE) PBX systems and associated peripherals.
• Working knowledge of OmniVista 8770 administration, voicemail systems, Visual Automated Attendant (VAA), OpenTouch Fax, and SIP-based telephony.
• Experience troubleshooting PBX call servers, remote/passive call servers, gateways, PRI/T1 and SIP connectivity, endpoint devices, call routing, and related voice infrastructure.
• Experience performing routine PBX administration, moves/adds/changes, system testing, documentation, and escalation to vendor/OEM support as required.
• Familiarity with enterprise telephony endpoints and peripheral services, including IP/SIP phones, voicemail, automated attendants, paging, emergency/ring-down services, and fax integration.

Other Qualifications specific to position:
·    Minimum of 2 years of experience in Enterprise Cable Infrastructure or End User Computing Group.
·    Working knowledge of cable infrastructure standards, ANSI/TIA/EIA and 802.x standards
·    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
·    Excellent collaboration, organizational, verbal and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
·    Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Podio, Microsoft Visio and Revu Bluebeam

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $82,000.00 - $123,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
