Asset Integrity Manager

Role Summary

The Asset Integrity Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of manufacturing assets across multiple international sites. The position drives asset integrity management, energy optimization, maintenance processes, and sustainability initiatives to improve operational performance and reduce environmental impact. The role works closely with plant operations, safety, and sustainability teams to develop and implement best practices across the organization.

Priorities and Responsibilities

Asset Integrity & Reliability Management

• Develop and implement machine safety improvement programs across the plant network.
• Establish and oversee predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs across all manufacturing plants.
• Lead risk assessments, failure analyses, and root cause investigations to improve asset performance.
• Ensure compliance with international safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.

Energy Optimization & Sustainability

• Define and execute an energy efficiency roadmap aligned with corporate sustainability goals.
• Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives using best practices and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with regional and local plant teams to monitor energy consumption, improve efficiency, and reduce carbon footprint.
• Ensure compliance with energy regulations and certification standards across different regions.

Strategic Leadership & International Collaboration

• Act as the subject matter expert for asset integrity and energy optimization, providing guidance to regional and local teams.
• Establish global KPIs and performance-monitoring systems to benchmark and improve asset performance and energy efficiency.
• Engage with senior leadership to align asset management and energy strategies with business objectives.
• Lead international cross-functional teams and promote knowledge sharing between manufacturing plants.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and evaluate new technologies, digital solutions, and automation strategies to enhance asset reliability and energy efficiency.
• Develop training programs and best-practice frameworks to strengthen internal capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in production management, maintenance, or energy management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of leading projects and processes that reduce energy consumption and improve machine reliability.
• Experience in technical operations, plant management, and manufacturing technology within the corrugated packaging industry or other process manufacturing sectors.
• Experience implementing preventive maintenance programs and establishing maintenance reliability frameworks.
• Experience working across multiple international sites and managing diverse regulatory requirements.

Desired Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of corrugated packaging production, including material science, printing processes (flexographic, lithographic, and digital), and manufacturing techniques.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams across regions and sites while aligning them with organizational goals.
• Strong expertise in asset lifecycle management, predictive maintenance, and failure analysis.
• KPI-driven mindset combined with an adaptive communication style.
• Excellent process and systems knowledge within corrugated packaging manufacturing.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent facilitation, moderation, and communication skills, with proficiency in German and English.
• Motivated, resilient, and practical, with a strong focus on continuous learning.
• Enjoys collaboration, networking, and leading teams within a complex international environment.
• Committed to maintaining a strong on-site presence within the CrS operations segment.
