About Us: Digital Factory @ MOL Group
Imagine a place where startup energy meets corporate muscle. That’s us. We’re Digital Factory, the innovation engine behind MOL Group’s transformation from a traditional fuel retailer into a digital-first, customer-obsessed mobility and consumer services powerhouse.
We’re building a smarter future – powered by data and AI, driven by insights, and designed for people. From our Salesforce-powered loyalty app (hi, MOL MOVE 👋) to our ever-evolving Data Lake, we’re not just keeping up with the future – we’re building it.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior BI Developer who enjoys turning questions into clear visuals and reliable numbers. You’ll build Power BI dashboards on top of our data lake (SQL, Databricks), support operational analytics for MOHU’s Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) network, perform business and statistical data analyses, support data exploration activities and help business users make better, faster decisions.
What you’ll do
Deliver reporting that matters – handle internal requests for reports, dashboards, and data extracts, change requests, and data exploration needs.
Build with Power BI – design and maintain dashboards using data lake sources (SQL, Databricks).
Translate needs into visuals – turn business requirements, dashboard requests, data accuracy issues, and analytical needs into clean, comprehensible reports.
Guard data quality – run validations, support data collection, cleansing and validation activities and document logic so results are trusted and repeatable.
Guide operations – create KPIs and views for capacity optimization, collection planning, routing, and overall network performance, while developing easy-to-understand visualizations that drive action.
Support business stakeholders and data analysts by performing ad-hoc analyses, investigating data quality issues, and contributing to the development of advanced analytics solutions.
Partner with business stakeholders across MOL Group to understand analytical needs and help drive data-driven decision making.
What You Bring
Experience building Power BI reports/dashboards and using Power Query for transformations.
Working knowledge of SQL or Python and core data analysis concepts including statistical analysis and data validation techniques.
Interest in operational analytics, performance tracking, and data‑driven decision making.
Interest in developing both technical capabilities and business understanding through continuous learning and on-the-job experience.
Keen eye for detail and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn—this role is designed for early‑career BI talent.
Nice to have
Exposure to Databricks, Azure Data Lake, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with agile ways of working (scrum, Kanban) and product‑driven environments.
How you’ll grow here
Learn modern ways of working, BI best practices, data analytics methodologies, and self-service reporting approaches, end-to-end.
Get hands‑on with real operational datasets that influence day‑to‑day decisions.
Collaborate with BI Developers, Data Engineers, and Product Teams across MOL Retail.
Build a portfolio of dashboards and analytics that clearly show measurable impact.
Tool you’ll use
Power BI, Power Query, SQL/Python, Databricks, Azure‑based data lake sources.
