Why we exist

Most people with treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, or OCD spend years cycling through medications before anyone mentions there are other options. Treatments like accelerated TMS, SAINT, Spravato, and IV ketamine can work when nothing else has. They're also hard to find, hard to get covered, and hard to deliver well. That gap is why Radial exists.

We support the country's largest network of brain medicine clinics: 27 clinics and more than 100 clinicians across seven states, caring for patients with some of the most serious mental health conditions there are. RadialOS, our AI-native operating system, matches patients to the right treatment, coordinates their care, and takes administrative work off clinicians' plates. We're backed by General Catalyst, and in 2026 we acquired the MSO behind Mindful Health Solutions, one of the pioneers of interventional psychiatry.

Every role here supports our mission of getting patients access to the care they need as quickly as possible.

The role

When a technician can't log in at 7 a.m., the first TMS patient of the day waits. When access isn't removed on someone's last day, patient data is exposed. At Radial, IT is part of how care gets delivered.

More than 250 people across 27 clinics and our corporate team run on systems inherited from two companies. You'll own all of it: every system we run that we don't build ourselves, from identity, devices, and clinic networks to our EHR, business applications, and the security program. Our engineering team builds RadialOS. You'll own everything around it and partner closely on how it all connects.

You'll lead a strong team and will set the strategy for our security policies. You'll serve as our HIPAA Security Officer yourself until that seat is filled.

Early on, that might mean laying two companies' tool lists side by side and deciding what survives, walking a clinic to see why the network drops during treatment hours, or sitting with your team to pick the requests that should never reach a human again.

What you'll do

  • Own Radial's systems strategy: decide what we run, what we consolidate, and what we retire, and make build, buy, and kill calls with data.
  • Lead the technical integration of two organizations across identity, endpoints, collaboration, networking, telephony, and business applications, consolidating overlapping systems and vendors.
  • Own our EHR and the other clinical and business systems we buy, partnering with engineering, which owns RadialOS and its integrations.
  • Keep clinics running: hardware, connectivity, and the devices that support patient care on site.
  • Own the security program and serve as the interim HIPAA Security Officer. You will manage risk assessments, access controls, vendor risk and BAAs, incident response, and audit readiness.
  • Replace the ticket queue with automation. Stand up an AI-native service desk where employees get help in Slack, routine requests like access, onboarding, and offboarding resolve without a human touching them, and your team builds approved, auditable workflows in plain language. You'll measure success by automation rate, not ticket volume.
  • Grant access just in time and remove it automatically, with an audit trail that makes HIPAA reviews easy.
  • Set the guardrails for how the whole company uses AI safely with patient data.
  • Lead, develop, and grow a team, setting the standard for how IT operates and how it treats the people it supports.
  • Own the IT budget and vendor relationships, and make our technology cost less per person as we grow.

Backgrounds we think could thrive here

  • IT leaders at high-growth tech companies who've owned the whole stack and made it modern and automated
  • Healthcare IT leaders at multi-site provider groups who want to move faster
  • IT leaders who've run integration across acquisitions at PE-backed companies
  • Business systems or IT operations leaders ready to own the full stack

This list isn't a checklist. If you see yourself in one of these, we'd like to talk. If you don't but the role still sounds like you, we'd like to talk too.

You may be a great fit if you

  • Have owned the full IT stack, not one slice, and can tell us what you consolidated and what it saved.
  • Have retired a legacy tool and nobody missed it.
  • Think about automation before headcount when the queue grows.
  • Can explain a security tradeoff to an executive in two minutes and to an auditor in a two-hour deep dive.
  • Have led IT through an acquisition and know what to consolidate first.
  • Are current on modern IT, including cloud identity, SSO and MFA, device management, and zero-trust access, and have run a HIPAA security program hands-on, with working knowledge of frameworks like SOC 2 or HITRUST.
  • Have a team that would say you made them better.
  • Use AI in your own work, have automated real IT operations with it, and have a clear view of the risks.

Nice to have

  • Experience deploying an AI-native service management or help desk automation platform
  • Healthcare provider or health tech experience
  • Experience administering an EHR or practice management system
  • Scripting and automation skills

How we work

Work backwards from the patient. We start with what a patient experiences and build back from there. Sometimes that means launching later, or killing something that looks great on a dashboard but doesn't help anyone get treated.

Urgency with care. Many of our patients arrive after years of treatments that didn't work, and every week of delay costs them. We move fast. We also work with people at their most vulnerable, so we never trade safety or dignity for speed.

Write it down. We decide in writing. Meetings start with silent reading of a PRFAQ or short doc, so the best argument wins instead of the loudest voice. It's slower to write and faster to decide.

Conviction with an open mind. Bring a point of view and argue for it. Change your mind when someone shows you something better, not when they push harder. Once the call is made, back it as if it were yours.

Own the problem, not the lane. Go to where the work happens and learn the details until you understand them better than anyone. If a patient is waiting because of a broken handoff two teams away, it's yours until it's fixed or clearly in someone else's hands. Clinical decisions stay with our clinicians: your job is to raise the issue, not make the call.

Our commitment

Our patients come from every background, and we design for the ones the system has served worst. We build teams the same way. Radial is an equal opportunity employer. We don't discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.

Plenty of great candidates rule themselves out too early. If you care about this problem but don't check every box, apply and let us make that call after we've talked.
