At McGraw Hill, our Senior Product Marketing Manager will help connect customer needs with compelling product stories and go-to-market strategies. This role brings together customer insight, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to support growth across our Grades 6-12 English Language Arts (ELA) portfolio.
How can you make an impact?
As Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will work at the intersection of Product, Sales, Marketing, and customer insights, translating the needs of teachers, school and district leaders, curriculum directors, and students into differentiated positioning, messaging, and market-facing strategies. You will serve as the voice of the customer, helping the business turn innovative products into clear value propositions that support adoption, retention, and growth.
You will partner with Product Management, Integrated Marketing, Product and Academic Design, Finance, Sales, Project Management, and Consulting to inform product direction and execute effective go-to-market strategies.
This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.
What you will be doing:
- Partner with the Director to execute end-to-end go-to-market strategies, translating product and customer needs into effective positioning, messaging, campaigns, and sales support.
- Review and translate market research and customer insights into marketing strategies, value propositions, and differentiated messaging that address customer needs.
- Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape and use those insights to strengthen product differentiation, marketing strategies, and sales enablement.
- Represent the voice of the customer in key business decisions and collaborate with Product Management, Project Management, Integrated Marketing, Product and Academic Design, Finance, and Sales to inform product roadmap decisions and plans.
- Provide hands-on support for key opportunities, product content, campaigns, state adoptions, and open-territory strategies.
- Partner with Sales and Consulting teams on retention, expansion, and migration opportunities with existing customers.
We’re looking for someone with:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, or a related marketing or sales function; K–12 education publishing industry experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience designing and executing effective go-to-market strategies.
- Knowledge of the K–12 intervention and alternative core market is preferred.
- A customer-first orientation, strong analytical decision-making skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Salesforce.com experience is preferred, along with curiosity and a desire to learn and ask questions.

The pay range for this position is between $82,100 - $110,000 USD annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
