Short Summary:
Metyis is looking for a Data Engineering Principal with 8+ years of experience to join their Data and Analytics team in Amsterdam. The role involves leading data handling, management, and analytics processes while interacting with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, influence & implement the technical roadmap of clients.
- Responsible for architecture ensuring technical and non-technical components work together.
- Develop digital operations using Python, Spark, RESTful API, and Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Coach and enable product team members to deliver best-in-class products.
- Evaluate business needs and objectives in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.

Requirement:
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role, with ETL solutions on Azure.
- Solid knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and modern cloud-based architecture.
- Advanced SQL, data transformation, and profiling skills.
- People management experience (at least 5 team members).
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields (Master's is a plus).
