Short Summary:
Metyis is seeking a Data Engineering Manager with 5-8 years of experience to join their Data and Analytics team in Amsterdam. The role involves leading data management and analytics processes, working closely with Data Scientists, and interacting with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, influence & implement the technical roadmap of clients.
- Ensure architecture components work together to meet customer needs.
- Develop digital operations using Python, Spark, RESTful API, and Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Coach product team members to deliver best-in-class products.
- Deliver data platforms and collaborate with the data science team on data products.
- Evaluate business needs and objectives in collaboration with project teams.
Requirement:
- 7-10 years of professional hands-on experience.
- 5-8 years in a similar role with ETL solutions on Azure.
- Solid knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices.
- Experience with cloud-based setups, advanced analytics, and CI/CD workflows.
- Advanced SQL, data transformation, and profiling skills.
- Experience with Azure services and building production ETL/ELT pipelines.
- People management experience (2-3 member team).
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields (Master's is a plus).
