Short Summary:
Merkle Science provides blockchain transaction monitoring and intelligence solutions. The intern will design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs, working with a team experienced in major tech companies.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python (Django/FastAPI)
- Write efficient queries and manage data models in PostgreSQL
- Work with Redis for caching, queues, and improving service performance
- Collaborate with frontend and QA engineers to ship end-to-end features
- Write clean, tested, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
- Debug and optimize existing services for performance and scale
- Work with large datasets related to blockchain transactions

Requirement:
- Strong fundamentals in Python and object-oriented programming
- Understanding of Django/FastAPI or any Python web framework
- Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Basic understanding of caching concepts and tools like Redis
- Understanding of REST API design principles
- Strong problem-solving and DSA fundamentals
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control workflows
- Final year (graduating 2027) B.Tech/B.E./Dual Degree students from IIT/NIT/IIIT only in CSE, IT, or closely related branches
- Strong academic record and demonstrated coding ability
