Short Summary:
Mercury is looking to hire a Senior IT Auditor to support the Internal Audit function, drive internal audits, and assess technology risks and controls.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying, analyzing, and assessing IT, cybersecurity, and data security risks.
- Scope and plan multiple audits across Mercury products and operations.
- Conduct process walkthroughs and execute audit testing.
- Assess compliance with Mercury’s obligations.
- Document and report audit issues identified.
- Collaborate with teams to develop action plans and track audit issue remediation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirement:
- Experience scoping and planning complex audits.
- Comfortable conducting walkthroughs and executing internal controls testing.
- Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.).
- Experience with financial services companies and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with IT control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).
- Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and related security controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with innovative thinking.
