Title: Mandatory internship performance marketing and social media
Location: Berlin, Germany (Hybrid)
VAERM is a young brand on a mission to redefine warmth. Our first product, the VAERM bottle, is an electric hot water bottle with patented heating technology developed in Germany: warm in minutes, five heat levels, no boiling water, no leaks. We sell direct-to-consumer across Europe and are growing fast, with more than 10,000 orders so far. Now we're looking for someone who wants to help build a brand from the ground up, with real responsibility from day one. ## Tasks **•** Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns on Meta (Instagram & Facebook) and other channels, from targeting and budgets to A/B tests and reporting. **•** Create ad creatives, including short-form video, static ads, and UGC-style content, and iterate based on performance data. **•** Support media buying decisions and analyze KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, and CTR. **•** Manage our Instagram presence: content planning, posting, community management, and trend scouting. **•** Source, brief, and manage creators and influencers, and coordinate brand collaborations. **•** Contribute your own ideas on how VAERM should look, sound, and grow. ## Requirements **•** You're enrolled at a university and need to complete a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum) as part of your studies, ideally in marketing, communications, media, business, or a related field. **•** You have a strong interest in performance marketing, social media, and D2C brands. **•** You're analytical and creative at the same time, and you enjoy working with numbers as much as with content. **•** You work independently, take ownership, and communicate clearly. **•** Very good German and/or English skills. **Nice to have** **•** First experience with Meta Ads Manager or other ad platforms. **•** Video editing skills (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve). **•** Hands-on experience with Instagram growth, content creation, or influencer marketing. **•** Familiarity with Shopify or e-commerce analytics. ## Benefits **•** Real responsibility for campaigns with real budgets, not just busywork. **•** Direct collaboration with the founders and short decision paths. **•** Insight into every part of building a D2C brand: product, marketing, sales, and operations. **•** Hybrid working model with flexible hours. **•** Room for your own ideas and a steep learning curve.
