Short Summary:
The Associate Account Manager role is designed for someone eager to build expertise in payments, customer success, and account management. You will manage day-to-day operational success for a portfolio of Marqeta customers and play a critical role in building the operational foundation for the Account Management team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers in Marqeta's Core Segment.
- Manage day-to-day operational needs: support tickets, program inquiries, configuration questions, and status updates.
- Ensure customer programs run smoothly and issues are resolved quickly.
- Build relationships with customer contacts and act as a trusted resource.
- Identify patterns or recurring needs to improve customer experience.
- Document and improve operational processes supporting the Account Management team.
- Create, maintain, and standardize templates and reference materials.
- Support senior Account Managers with customer-facing materials and reporting.
- Perform data analysis to surface customer trends and insights.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to track and close open action items.
Requirement:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in account management, customer success, operations, or related field.
- Exceptional organization and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Process-oriented and self-starter.
- Team player with a genuine interest in fintech.
