Product Manager

Title: Product Manager Location: Manchester

Mark43’s mission is to empower communities and their governments with new technologies that improve the safety and quality of life for all. We build powerful, scalable, and elegant software that sets a new standard for the tools upon which first responders rely. Our users are diverse, and we are committed to embracing diversity of thought and experience within our team.

We are looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of Case Management within Mark43’s UK platform. You will bring a strong understanding of policing and public safety and the operational realities of the people who use our products, helping us turn complex requirements and workflows into technology that feels intuitive, dependable, and purpose-built.

You will own meaningful parts of the Case product lifecycle while also developing fluency across the broader Mark43 platform. You will work closely with customers, Product, Design, Engineering, Delivery, and other teams to take problems from discovery through launch and adoption.

What You’ll Do

If you were part of our product team, here are some things you might have done last week:

• Spent time with police officers, staff, and other users understanding how an investigation moves from initial reporting through case management and identifying friction that technology can remove.

• Worked with Design and Engineering to turn a complicated operational or policy requirement into a simple, scalable product experience.

• Refined the Case roadmap and backlog using customer feedback, market insights, product strategy, and data.

• Defined the problem, requirements, and success measures for an upcoming capability and worked with your team to move it towards delivery.

• Demonstrated new functionality to a customer and incorporated what you learned into future iterations.

• Provided product and public safety expertise to Sales, Delivery, Customer Success, and other internal teams.

• Explored where AI or new approaches to software development could reduce administrative work, surface useful information, or improve the user experience while maintaining appropriate safeguards.

• Jumped into a problem outside of Case to support another UK Product Manager and continue building your understanding of the full Mark43 platform.

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for a Product Manager with experience owning complex software products or workflows from discovery through delivery and adoption. Enterprise SaaS experience is valuable, but for this role we are particularly interested in candidates who bring meaningful knowledge of policing, public safety, criminal justice, or adjacent government workflows in the UK.

You should be able to translate deep domain knowledge into great product decisions rather than simply recreating existing processes in software. You will need the business, design, and technical acumen to have productive conversations with customers, designers, engineers, and commercial teams.

Experience with AI-enabled products, software-driven development approaches, or data-intensive products is beneficial.

People who thrive on our team also tend to share the following characteristics:

• Humble, open, and curious. You bring expertise without assuming you already know the answer and are excited to keep learning from users and teammates.

• Strong listeners and problem solvers. You look beyond feature requests to understand the underlying problem and the outcome a user is trying to achieve.

• Enthusiastic collaborators. You believe the best products come from shared ownership across Product, Design, Engineering, customers, and subject matter experts.

• Comfortable with complexity. You can work through policy, workflow, data, and technical constraints and find a clear path forward.

• Team oriented. You develop knowledge beyond your immediate product area and actively help teammates succeed.

This role is based in Manchester, with an expectation of working from our Manchester office three days per week. The role will also require regular engagement with customers and teams across the UK. Due to the nature of our work with UK policing, the successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain NPPV Level 3 (NPPV3) clearance.
