About the Role

At Maersk, we are transforming the future of logistics by connecting the world through seamless supply chains. As a Dispatcher - South, you will play a critical role in ensuring freight moves efficiently across road, rail, and barge networks while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch operations across truck, rail, and barge transportation.

• Monitor transport execution to achieve On Time Arrival (OTA) targets.

• Validate, accept, and execute freight orders while maintaining stakeholder communication.

• Optimize transport planning through vendor selection, triangulation, and mode selection.

• Manage service providers to deliver best-in-class service and quality standards.

• Proactively resolve operational exceptions and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with customs, legal, and transportation regulations.

• Partner with procurement to identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or freight forwarding operations.

• Good understanding of inland transportation networks.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Customer-focused and results-oriented approach.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
